But then Kendall lost a little bit. had taken her little arms out her single leg. It was really incredible. Y'all gotta tell me, I'm not the only one who was super impressed with this match.

And I'm not surprised. mean, that was my pick. I picked Lola. I felt like it was time for Lola to get it. ⁓ And I felt like, yes, Kendall would be a great NXT champion, but I don't think right now, like just left involved. And then just to come and now take the title, I feel like this is when you start speeding up the process. ⁓ When you have all these other options.

And it wasn't, I mean, there were a couple of weird moves here and there, but I don't think that was literally the issue. think it just, something fell flat and I'm not sure what it was. And I was kind of disappointed because this is the thing I've been looking forward to, right? Like I was totally expecting this to be the match that's going to

the night, but it didn't to me. I'm, you know, I was a little disappointed to be honest, and I'm not sure. Like you said, maybe it was, it just felt off balance, like not enough anger, not enough something to them. The mistakes didn't help.

Here's what y'all think. Honestly, Zarya was such a face in this match, like, Seoul even tried to emotionally manipulate her. She did. That was the other piece. I was like, what are you doing? Why are you trying to, like... You're in a fight. I'm very confused. Besides those moments, I think this was just an intro and I expect more in the next match. That's fair. I really hope so. I hope so.

So well done, Zahra, you learned a deep and true lesson. In the ring, leave those emotions at home. It only leads to failure. All right. Zahra is a war machine and now will be that. She really, when they brought her in, I thought that's what she was going to be, but it seemed like they didn't know what they were gonna do.

I think we expected too much aggression because a duel has been together forever and that's why I always tell them to slap those didn't begin. You know what, Jimmy and Jay was flat at WrestleMania for a whole different reason. They just didn't have enough time. And so they were trying to put the entire story of that match into not enough time. So it didn't work because I think timing was an issue when trying to figure out how you tell the story with less moves. It didn't work.

So you, okay, so overall it looks like you guys think the match was meant to like start something.

Okay. I still feel like I need a little bit more spiciness here.

So with that, so do you think we're gonna end up with a soul in Zaria part two or soul ready? Like y'all said, she's gonna be next with Lola Vice according to y'all. So what you think?

And she hasn't actually played a heal at all, actually. So this is actually interesting to see. I would hate to see her called up before she figured that out though, because I feel like sometimes when they try to figure that out on the main roster, it's a hot mess.

So I would love for her to kind of figure out this other side of her before, kind of like Roxanne did. Because what they did is they gave her the ball to kind of switch her character because her friend was out. I think it was, ⁓ what's her name? Her name's Elena Blacknall.

I can't remember the skater girl, but she was out. And so they had to like have Roxanne be the bad girl when she was a good girl initially. And she leaned into that. It was fantastic. And so I feel like it made her more versatile when they did decide to call her up, which is why she easily fit right into this judgment day for as long as it's gonna last. have suspicions that she might be a face sooner rather than later.

Okay, so you think you're gonna get in one of two more matches? All right. And then after Sol loses the title, she goes to the main roster. Okay, Cora Jade, thank you. I can't remember that girl's name for nothing.

I think she's really really good as so To me that's a hard thing to kind of To see but I do suspect like she can still keep her attitude. I would say this was a good way to get Johnny in the mix of something and not him just being this sad poor man because his partner in crime left him to go somewhere else and to be greater and better. I think that's a dangerous spot for him to be in.

especially with what's going on with TKO and heading. We already know what happens after WrestleMania, they start doing the cut. it's not a good space for him to be in and I'm a little concerned, though I do think he delivered. He was amazing.

I'm just disappointed that they keep sending him back there.

Between this one and the women's first, the first and the last match I thought were perfection in their spots on the card. Because at the end of the day, they were both so technical, intense, it kept you at the edge of your seat, not knowing exactly who's gonna win. And then, ultimately,

having Tony coming up on top was just, it was a book ending in a lot of ways. Like you said, he's like the grand slam champion. Like that's incredible considering that he's been there that long. And again, like I said earlier, we watched him move, stay here while everybody else moved on. So he's been stuck at NXT with the Carmellos and the tricks and know, Braun, all of them leaving and he's just still there. So it does at least seem like they believe in him.

Also, I'm not sure what they would do with him on the main roster, that terrifies me deeply. But this match was everything, I agree with you Faith, it had everything. And I was very impressed at how it all netted. And I'm excited to see his first address as an NXT champion. I'm excited to see what it is. Joe Hendry though.
