But once the history lesson ends, the gloves come off. The streets are whispering about high-stakes betrayals, "frozen" legends, and the cold-blooded moves currently rocking the wrestling world.

And with that, I'm Kiara.

speaker-1 (01:19.502)
And I'm Tanisha and you're now entering the sister chat. Midnight confession style. It's gonna be great. It's gonna be great. I'm nervous right now, but it's good. It's good. We're good. We're good.

I've told people that.

You know, I tried. I appreciate it. You know, this is a lot. I always get a lot of nervous when it's me producing the show, least the first half of the show. So.

Let's start off with our truth serum, because I definitely need it right now.

speaker-1 (02:02.023)
You don't have a choice. Is it water?

Yes, our cheer serum is water today because it's been a

Even more so why you should have a little...

I still got couple more hours at work, so I can't get lit.

You know, how I will try. Well, my true service. I'm drinking tequila. I feel like that has been my drink of choice lately in different type of tequilas. You know, right now I have a little bit of Espalón Rapasalo in there. I just added a little, I got a little buzz ball pink lemonade squeeze.

speaker-0 (02:23.438)
Thank

speaker-1 (02:48.558)
This is Smash, nothing crazy. Nothing crazy. And right now feel like I really been liking this pink lemonade juice. So, know, that little mixture is kind of, it's kind of cool. So that is what I'm drinking. Any tequila sponsor. We'll help you out. Hi Candice, how are you?

That was to hear.

speaker-0 (03:11.192)
Hit up your girls.

speaker-0 (03:18.158)
Thank you.

Thank you for joining. I know you're gonna hype me up in this comments because you know, your girls struggling a little bit. I'm very nervous. This is very bad.

I think we need to do this more often.

Me do what more often? Me be, me lead? No, no, no, no, no,

I also want to say, I also want to add this app and then I'm gonna get right into it. Can we just acknowledge how chocolate drop we Ms. Kiara is? I'm just saying she got these new lip glosses. Okay. And she, and this is one of them and it is just.

speaker-0 (04:02.102)
Isn't that awesome?

It's just, you know, you would think she got a little makeup on and she don't. It's just a lip gloss. It's just, okay. And she flops.

Dr.

speaker-0 (04:17.224)
That's right. right. So yeah, I mean, I feel you. I thank you, thank you for acknowledging the lip gloss that I put into this and I combed out the hair. It was in a clip all day. It was a clip all day. So if you saw me at work today and you happen to be watching this, I want to let you know. My sister let herself go bye bye. I'm not sure what happened here. Don't know what she did.

I didn't do anything. These kids need to get off my internet. They supposed to be in bed right now. This is what happens in New York right now. They're on mid winter recess. So they are off to a week of school. So their schedule's a little jacked.

I mean, my kids are, well, I have a sick kid and other than that, I have a kid who's over school. But you got this, where campus is.

I got this.

It's from Tickety Talk today, so it's going to be, times are good. Thank you, Candace. I need to get a sponsor. need a lip combo sponsor.

speaker-1 (05:18.247)
we are on TK.

speaker-1 (05:22.382)
You know what? We both, I can do that. I can me nice little lip gloss, nothing too sticky. Give me just amount juicy, anyway. All right, I'm deflecting. Let me get, let's get to it people, let's get to it. So in honor of Black History Month, right? We are going to dig in a little bit of the, is called the unsung queens of Black History. The people that we do not think about.

the people that are overlooked, especially as everyone is honoring Black history, they're repeating the same things that we've heard over and over again, or, you know, there was a lot of people who highlighted a lot of the Black wrestlers, everything like that, which are great things. But a part of many conversations with my partner, it was like, oh, I didn't, wait, who was that? I don't know. And I loved him some Black history. And, um,

And if I could just take a class, I know I would get an A, because it's just I am fascinated by different things that are happening. So as I want to talk about it, we're going to think about it as like the whispers of our grandmother. So these are women that we don't think about. And of course, I want to hear you all in these comments.

We're gonna a little icebreaker. When you think about Black history, what does that mean to you? Or what does that represent? Who is the first person that comes in your brain when you immediately think about Black history?

Let me think, I think. You want me to answer or you want to? OK, so when I think of Black history, takes me back to elementary school. So I'm going tell you about all the stuff we always talk about. We always talk about Martin Luther King. We always talking about Malcolm X. We talk about Rosa Parks. So it's mostly the people that we really talk about a lot.

speaker-1 (07:02.456)
Yeah, I you to answer.

speaker-1 (07:11.534)
Hmm.

speaker-0 (07:29.612)
I will say our dad did a really good job of trying to make sure we learned other people.

Mm-hmm.

because he did show us lot of different.

I remember Shock and Zulu. We watched that movie. I don't know if we should have watched that movie, but we watched that movie. Our three part, whatever. I feel like it just kept going.

We watched that, you we watched.

speaker-0 (07:46.476)
We probably shouldn't watch the two parts.

speaker-1 (07:56.046)
Raisin in the sun.

speaker-0 (08:01.363)
their eyes were watching God. I mean, I've seen it all. So when I think of Black History Month, I think of all the things that we typically hear.

Yeah, I mean, I do too. I mean, I feel like that's been beaten into so much into us because some things, unfortunately, they can't erase in this country. You can't erase Martin Luther King. You can't erase Malcolm X. These are people that you can't erase them even if you want to or you try because there are one of the roots of the Civil Rights era.

things of that nature. Of course, Rosa Parks, we know about Rosa Parks. That's somebody that thinks in my head too. But I also think about George Washington Carver. I think about Franklin Douglas. actually did think about elementary school. I actually did a black history project on Franklin Douglas. Now do I remember everything? Frederick? Douglas? What'd say? I'm a little nasally. I don't know why. Sorry.

drink.

speaker-1 (09:08.014)
I did technology medicine, so I don't know what's going on. But leading into that, there's people, like we talked about Martin Luther King. Well, did you guys know that on the night he was assassinated, he was actually meant to go have dinner at someone's house?

Yes, I did.

I didn't know that. That was something new to me. I had no clue he was supposed to go meet somebody at the house. I did watch the movie. I just probably fell asleep. I probably wasn't paying attention.

They're watching a

speaker-0 (09:43.79)
How did that happen? You either new one or the old one. Next time, what's the one? Either or. I'll be able to be... Don't worry. Carry on.

speaker-0 (09:57.644)
But yes, they definitely talked about him going to them.

Did they say in the movie who he was gonna go see?

I don't remember. I can't answer. Well, who you were supposed to go see was Georgia, Georgina. What is how you pronounce this? My brain is not working right now. Georgina? I said it right.

I guess so, yeah, I don't know who you're talking about.

Is Georgia with an A? No, that is Georgia. What is happening?

speaker-0 (10:29.07)
Okay, was going to see it don't matter. Who was he going to see?

That's who he's gonna see, that's her name. Georgia Gilmore.

Georgia?

speaker-1 (10:38.478)
Wow, geez, I don't know. This is, I may have to take over. I'm getting really nervous, this is bad.

Okay, no need. We don't talk about Bruno. Bruno don't exist. Let's move. All right, so he was meant to go see Georgina. That's interesting.

And she was someone who funded the Montgomery bus boycott. Did you know that? I didn't know that either. But once again, I also didn't know who she was until I had a conversation. And then looking her up, I was like, well then, I didn't know you had all these different things.

No.

speaker-1 (11:27.458)
So she was finding that she got fired from her job because of her being an activist and helping in opening her kitchen in her home to everyone by cooking and supporting them, making sure they have something to eat while they're doing their many movements, boycotts, stages. Like she was literally selling

her fried chicken and pies to help hide money for them. To this movement. I thought that was really fascinating because I was like, I didn't even know who this was. And that's who he was, Dr. Martin Luther King, who was going to go see. And the reason, you know, if you didn't watch the movie or you didn't watch the movie or you're just like me learning things for the first time, like that's how he got assassinated. He went upstairs to go get his jacket and he came back and he never came back.

Okay.

speaker-0 (12:15.638)
Okay.

speaker-1 (12:29.558)
So if he didn't need his jacket, he would have been on his way. Maybe this would have been a different story. But I think that's fascinating to know that this is somebody who we can consider as a nourisher who was making sure that everyone was being fed during all these different moments. Because who knows what was happening other than what we know. But in real time, who like, are you scared? Are you hungry? you like, what's going on? You're not thinking about eating.

you know, it was a really trying time. So what do you think about knowing about her?

I mean, that's really interesting. I think had heard of her before. I think you mentioned something that I do want to come back to because when I was in college, that's first time I actually was exposed to African-American history, right? Because remember, I grew up a bit in Connecticut. And then when I moved to Georgia, did get into a little bit more of it in Georgia. But by that point, I was already in high school, right? So I had kind of missed the typical

history cycle that you would have gotten there. So I did feel a little bit left behind when I had gotten to Georgia and was like, dang, they know more than I do in some cases. Not everything, but definitely about African-American history. And it was a question to me as to why it wasn't being taught where I was. I mean, I felt like our father did a great job supplementing our education. And he took us to libraries and we watched movies. And during Black History Month, was Black every

So he didn't play. And I feel like that supplemented our knowledge base. But there was just plenty we didn't know, I think, in the long run, right? Which I think takes us to your hidden figures. But before I get there, I just want to remind y'all, if you guys are tuning in and you're like, where is the wrestling hold? Midnight Confessions is two-parties. It's a two-parter today. We're going to start with our Black history.

speaker-0 (14:35.584)
And then we will get into the week now.

Because it was a week.

Hold tight, because the streets did a lot of talking. You should see this story. It's like eight stories. So the streets was talking, and I just found out a new one two seconds ago. So y'all just hold. I got you. So stay tuned for the Black History, and then we'll get into the wrestling of it all, because I got you.

Hi, Dalton. Thank you for joining.

All right, so let's talk about these hidden figures because I'm curious why you pick them, who they are, and what we need to know.

speaker-1 (15:15.362)
Well, I mean, I picked them because they're people that I didn't know nothing about. And I was fascinated by learning about them. So like this next person that we're going to talk about, which I was kind of shocked, but not shocked, but I guess I should have known that pretty much the person who was helping to free the slaves that was in the Caribbean.

Okay.

speaker-1 (15:46.04)
there was someone else, there was no Harriet Tubman. Like she wasn't, there was no railroad going that way. Someone else built their own and her name was, I'm not, I'm gonna say her name wrong, but.

speaker-0 (16:06.638)
Yeah, I don't think you are. think they're pretty... Queen Nanny? Yeah.

Yes, yes, yes, yes. You know what? I saw something else, because that's another word I'm gonna practice. But Queen Nanny of the Maroons. So she was the militant mastermind in the 18th centuries of Jamaica.

who escaped slavery and led the, with, when world, when ward maroons.

One word.

I don't know what's going on with her internet today, y'all. We're back. Windward. OK, let's carry on. Windward and Windward.

speaker-1 (16:56.952)
So.

That was pretty much like how she helped, once she escaped, then she made it a way for other people to escape and get away. And they became tech, they're still, till this day, the only independent from the British rule. So Jamaica, yes, is a country, yes, but they are still, is still one part of Jamaica that is not under British rule.

or hasn't been under British rule for a very long time. And it is called the O.

speaker-1 (17:41.154)
Why can I? it's called Nanny Town. Hypotheric. How crazy is that? So, and what she did was also she used psychological warfare and a spiritual science called obia. I said that right, right? That's it.

I don't know, but you roll with it. right as you said it.

Okay, okay. Where she pretty much was just training the warriors and they camouflage themselves as trees to ambush the British soldiers. I'm going to get my words right today. I don't know what's going on, but soldiers. I think that's fascinating that

Saturday.

Yes, but do you have any more about that? Like I'd love to know. I do. want to know more about this. Psychological warfare. What? Ovia? Ovea science? What? How does she do that? What's that? We need to pick up now because it's hard out here sometimes.

speaker-1 (18:32.014)
Let me give you to your heart.

speaker-1 (18:39.886)
Hold on, I'm gonna give it to

speaker-1 (18:44.204)
I know, okay, right now my internet act is stupid, so I can't pull it up. Give me a second. It said no. It said no, not today, not to you, no way. Let's hear, let me hear y'all in the chats. What are you are interested in while we are, while I am pulling this up for you?

Yeah, I want to know. questions. I was like, I need to know about this psychological warfare because y'all paying attention right now.

There's a lot going on. lot going on. So, I'm just trying to see if we need to revisit that.

gone on asosa.

speaker-1 (19:31.896)
Alright, let tell you about this.

speaker-1 (19:39.576)
So the psychological warfare. Is that me again? Did I just cut out?

Yeah, keep going. I can see you.

You can see me? Okay, perfect.

speaker-1 (20:06.368)
My internet hates me. It hates me. It hates me.

That's why I go tell those kids to go get off. I'm like, ain't it bedtime? Go to bed.

It is bedtime. They are going to have to get off because this is crazy.

it up in case you know I can answer some of these questions that I have you you look at it.

You can you have it

speaker-0 (20:30.316)
You have questions. I'm Because I'm like. Are you OK? Cool, cool, cool. So what we're discussing, if you're just now tuning in, welcome. Welcome to our Black History portion of today's Midnight Confession. We are. Talking about. Unsung heroes who happen to be women and the one we're currently talking about is Queen Nanny of the Moon.

Tanisha just told us she was a military mastermind in the 18th century in Jamaica. And she did a lot of incredible things like liberating over a thousand people from plantations. And she founded Nanny Town, which remained independent from British rule, which was a feat to behold. And right now I want to know how. And Tanisha told us that she used psychological warfare and a spiritual science. This is what we're currently investigating right now.

I don't know what happened to my thing. Anyway.

Okay. Let's move on. It's all right.

I'm so sorry guys.

speaker-0 (21:45.848)
So we're going to come back to her. Let's talk about somebody else. wait, wait. I can tell you. I got it. Never mind. Because I can kick people off my internet. So let me tell you all. So she was revered, basically. And she was a practitioner of Obeya, which is what you said. But it's an African-based system of spiritual healing, protection, her case, revolutionary resistance. So based on that,

You got it. Okay.

speaker-0 (22:14.702)
It's not just magic, but it's a strategic tool for freedom. It's a method of organizing the social and economic structure of her community, fostering self-sufficiency and confidence, which is half the battle out there. Confidence is half the battle. But she was believed to possess immense spiritual power with legends claiming to catch bullets fired from British guns and redirected.

It often caused fear among the British soldiers. So I'm trying to see something. Why is there no movie about her? Because this feels like this should be a Netflix opportunity because she was catching.

Because she's a hidden gem. They try and not let people know about it. Like, you gotta really look into other people besides the people that they push or the people that we are known of.

Yes, here's the other piece. It's called Tactical Magic. Stories suggest that Nanny used her powers to create seemingly impossible advantages, such as hiding her people in the mountains, appearing to move trees, and using a boiling cauldron without a fire to entrap soldiers. Listen.

Somebody call 911 on Netflix because I'm trying to see this show.

speaker-0 (23:33.102)
because it caused the British to get the hell on out. I mean, that is pretty incredible. she actually founded Nanny Town Mountains with her brother.

speaker-1 (23:46.615)
Wow.

speaker-1 (23:50.07)
That is actually really good.

It really is. I'm like, that's fascinating. She, believe, maybe in this picture at the top.

speaker-0 (24:02.69)
Mm-hmm. She's in the picture in the top.

if you can see the background, which you will if you are on YouTube or you're visiting us on Twitch or various. If you're going to see the thumbnails and I want you guys to pay special attention to the thumbnail today because half of it are these amazing hidden gems that Tanisha found and the other half is going to take part to our wrestling situation. All right, so that was really cool. That was one hidden gems I had never heard of her again. Give me another one.

All right, you ready? All right, I'm ready. The next one, they call her the tycoon. So she is Mary Ellen Pleasant. So many would call her the mother of civil rights in California. So she was a 19th century entrepreneur, financier, and a Balinese. She was also

Okay, okay.

speaker-0 (25:00.448)
abolitionist?

Abolitionist, wow, that did not look like that word to me, but thank you, abolitionist. And she was the first African-American self-made millionaire. So let's think about that for a second. In the 19th centuries, she was the first African-American self-made millionaire.

going.

speaker-0 (25:27.169)
impressive.

That's just crazy. As well as her net worth was worth hundreds of millions of dollars. And she was long before the widely known success of Madam C.J. Walker. So that even puts it in more perspective. because we all know who that is, right? And she was also

week.

speaker-1 (25:59.374)
speaker-1 (26:03.638)
She worked as a domesticated, not sure what the SF means, elites to overhear investment secrets and stock tips.

So that's even more like, you know, it's like, wow, like going back in the 19th century, like, you know, how that was being, so being a female, being a black female and learning a different trade, I think is amazing. What she also did was she used her fortune to help fund the Underground Railroad.

speaker-1 (26:45.582)
So that, and she was also the secret financier behind John's Brown raid on Harper's Ferry. So let me give, let's give a little bit more of, about the funding for John Brown, right? Cause I'm pretty sure you have questions about who John Brown is, what is this Harper Ferry?

Hi, Mommy.

speaker-0 (27:07.65)
Yes, please. And I can answer one of your questions because S.F. was San Francisco.

Thank you. Listen, these abbreviations sometimes you'd be like, I'm not quite sure that means something else, but you know, Hey, I hear you. I did not do that in college. don't, I don't even know what that is. Anyway, so she, she claims to have, so she pretty much provided about $30,000 to fund John Brown's

to learn how to speed reading.

speaker-1 (27:44.462)
1859 raid of Harper's Ferry. And it was reportedly found in his pocket after he was captured.

Now, what is Harper's Fairy? Let me let you know because it sounds a little crazy. Harper's Fairy.

speaker-1 (28:08.782)
Harper's Ferry is in West Virginia. And it was one of those, hold on, I'll tell you right now.

speaker-1 (28:27.822)
So I could have digged dive in, because it's crazy. So this pretty much happened during the Civil War. So Harper's Faire was in Civil War, and pretty much they were raiding it to find out if there was any slaves there.

Okay.

So once they didn't find the slaves, they pretty much took John Brown in. But that's pretty much what that was and what she was. And I would say that she definitely helped in that movement to be able to be one of the first millionaires and also using her money for good to try to help her people in a way of helping them get away from slavery.

in, you know, abetting in different things that of course in this day and age may not fly by, right? You know, people. So I think that I think that was kind of cool. I think that was actually cool to know about her. What did you think?

I think it is really cool. I got some more to you about her, about my patient period.

speaker-1 (29:34.144)
let me know some more because I'm research.

I love the look. There's some stuff here. Hold your horses. Okay. So she moved without her parents to the island of Nantucket in Massachusetts. So she initially she started in Massachusetts, right? And Nantucket was one of the largest free black communities in the state of Massachusetts. then but still segregation was still present. So that was the thing. But she loved Nantucket when she was her early 20s. And she moved to Boston. And they talk about her life in Boston.

Hey, I'm holding him.

speaker-0 (30:06.51)
and it was like blah, blah, blah. She met her first husband when she worked in a tailor shop. He was crazy wealthy and an abolitionist. And as with her, his racial background was unclear. So that was the thing. They weren't even sure. must have been fair enough that it was really hard to determine whether she

That would make sense because there was a lot a lot of mixed children a lot as what they would call what mulatto

That's right. That's right. So it was really interesting to see like some claimed her husband at the time was Cuban and other thought him to be black. But he left Mary Ellen a significant inheritance when he died in 1840s. So this is where her wealth started to accumulate is after his death. She remarried several years later and her new husband was John James Pleasant. They had one daughter together and then that's when they moved to California.

It was the of the gold rush in 1849. And while they were at office, her husband worked as a cook and a domestic servant. And then at that point is when you get to the California private story, which you told. But when she arrived in she had $15,000 at that time, was huge at that point. like, but she wisely invested in companies that had a major influence on the economy, like Wells Fargo.

in the bank of California. She also invested specifically in gold, silver, quicksilver, and property. In addition, she opened laundry businesses and worked in domestic service. So Homegirl was on her husband's

speaker-1 (31:53.814)
She was. mean, well, that makes sense. mean, she wasn't going to, how could she be a millionaire if she wasn't doing all these different things?

speaker-0 (32:01.198)
She was doing a lot of things. Eventually, I'm just going to tell you what happened towards the end of her life, because there's a lot that ends up happening. She moved her business. She built a new mansion with her business partner, Thomas Bell, who was the vice president of the Bank of California. And she lived there with Thomas, his wife, Teresa, and their children. And although she was part owner of the property, she hid her financial status from the public and portrayed herself as the family's domestic.

You know what? That's smart. ain't gonna let you know I'm rich. Well, I I know I'm not gonna let you know I'm rich. There will be signs. With I ain't gonna let you I'm rich.

Facts, facts. But this was fascinating. I'm like...

my god. I mean I'm saying, she let you know there were signs, but she's specifically... I don't know who you're talking about, that's not me, but... I got all these businesses though.

Well, then it gets a little complicated. So, it gets real messy here.

speaker-1 (33:01.153)
on

How do you get the messy part? I did not get the messy part.

I don't take much. Yara's a journalism major. The one thing I know how to do is dink. I was like, I'm not sure how I got here, but this is legit a history site. in 1883, Mary Ellen became involved in a complicated situation with a young woman, Sarah Althea Hill-Sharon. Because you know, once you got money, somebody always bothered. And Sarah claimed that she was secretly married to William. Sharon, a wealthy investor.

Okay, I'm ready.

speaker-0 (33:35.554)
Girl, yes, I'm getting there. Girl, yes, I'm getting there, Monique. Girl, yes, they do it. you know, they're hard.

I was like, yes, ma'am. then so Sarah sued for divorce and accused William of being unfaithful. So remember, like, this was a whole complicated situation. But the truth was that Mary Ellen and Sarah secretly conspired to claim that Sarah and William were married. They worked together to blackmail William and were almost successful.

wow.

The first trial awarded Sarah money, but the marriage contract was found invalid on appeal because people can't let you be great. And in addition, Mary Ellen's character was attacked during the trial. She was accused of being a baby seller or an evil domestic worker. This was also a racist stereotype that was the opposite of a mammy, which is what they considered her before, because, you know, she was in threat when she was out there. But this trial was the beginning of the end of her reputation as a trustworthy person.

Thomas Bell, her business partner, died in an accident at their mansion in 1892. Mary Ellen and Thomas's wife fought over his inheritance in court for years. The relationship between Mary Ellen and Teresa soured, and the newspapers negatively portrayed Mary Ellen as untrustworthy. She spent the last years of her life defending herself against creditors in court. A series of bad investments and her complicated financial situation with the Bell family significantly decreased her wealth.

speaker-0 (35:11.596)
because again, what I said, they can't let you be grins. And then Mary Ellen Pleasant died in 1904, but by the end of her life, her inheritance was only 10,000. So that was less than she came to California with and less than she worth at the height of her life. So there you go. That's the rest of your tea on Mary Ellen Pleasant.

Well, once again, they'd never let no one be great when you got money.

What's with this black? Hold up, hold up. As I was reading this, I was like, I'm sorry, were you bored? Why were you playing games with Sarah and William? Was there something going on here? Was there some blackmail? Where's the book? Where's the tea? I'm about to do some digging. All right, who's our next gem?

next and final gem is Ella Baker. So she is also, she is considered the godmother of civil rights movement, okay? She was prioritizing community over

speaker-1 (36:20.562)
Rizma. So I'll get there. Um, one of her hustles that she did was she was a backbone of the NAACP. So NAACP. I don't know why I did like that. I don't know. I was like, girl, what you saying? You're like, say it like you like you like like you need to say from your chest. Anyway.

Okay.

speaker-0 (36:34.35)
was about to ask you to tell me A.A. but okay.

speaker-0 (36:50.145)
Hopefully ain't got no kind of disaster scandalous story either. I'm gonna pray on that as you keep going.

I don't know. Anyway, and she also was the backbone of the SCLC, I will tell you what that is in a second, before helping students found the SNCC. Now, those, I'm gonna tell you what those mean. Because I had to look that up. I was like, what are those? I'm not quite sure. So the...

SCLC, she helped fund what is called the Southern Christian Leadership Conference with Martin Luther King.

Remember that.

However, she grew frustrated with the top-down leadership style and the secondary role given to women. So she did not. Anyway, and then the SNCC is the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, which was empowering young activists to lead their own movement. And that was in 1960. After the 1960 Greensboro sit-ins, she organized that.

speaker-1 (38:06.886)
And when she was in NAACP, she was a director of the branches in 1940s, where she also traveled to the South alone. And at that time, it was the Jim Crow era. So it was very dangerous for a female to go down. When she was a true, true, absolutely.

anyone who was black at all.

speaker-1 (38:33.262)
building a massive network of local chapters that land, that laid the foundation for the future protests. Okay. I was like, wow, that's a lady, that's a lot there. But if you really want to know something else, she's also was like the architect of democracy.

She was powerful, immensely so.

Like when I found, like, said this one, like these people, I don't know about these people. I've never heard about this person. Like I'm not quite sure what's going on here, but her nickname was Fundy, which was a Swahili word for a person who passes a craft from one generation to the next. And her craft, if you haven't guessed it already, was pretty much community organizing.

Like that's, you know, like she's empowering the youth by creating this movement with them, right? So like understanding that. And, you know, she also did not want to be famous. She intentionally stayed out the spotlight. So could be another reason why we didn't really know too much about her like that either. But what did you find?

I'm going to take you back. She was born in 1903 in north Virginia. I know I like me to begin in the middle and the end of the story. She spent most of her childhood in rural North Carolina. That's actually really interesting because she attended high school.

speaker-1 (40:13.036)
She started in Norfolk?

Wow, that's crazy. That's a connection.

Wait, I'm about to give you the next one. You thought that was a connection. Hold, I'm ready. Because there's more to come. So she attended high school and then college at Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina.

In 1927, she graduated as a class victorian. You welcome, Monty. She hoped to attend graduate school, but her family couldn't afford it. So that's when she moved to New York in search of work. And then she lived in Harlem in 1927. Now, I don't know if y'all know about Harlem in the 20s.

It was, it was about to survive. But then when the Great Depression hit, the ideas she carried with her to New York were suddenly in question. She had been taught that hard work and perseverance would lead to success. But as the country struggled through an economic depression, hallelujah, what are we talking about right now? It seemed as though no amount of hard work could help her or her neighbors find stability and success. Okay? Just.

speaker-1 (40:56.725)
know about that era.

speaker-0 (41:25.326)
Let that sit in your spirit for a minute. But she channeled her frustration into work with the Young Negroes Cooperative League, which aimed to help Black people achieve economic independence. She also participated in investigations of unfair labor practices. And in 1935, she pretended to be a domestic worker while researching an article about the inequity Black women workers dealt.

Now that's something I can see you doing.

First of all, there's no way people would believe that I was a demographer. I mean, I know how to clean, y'all. But you know, they ain't going to. No, that's not something Kiarra, she's not getting on her hands and knees and scrubbing out a thing. So I thank all my ancestors for doing that for me because they walked so I could run. And I am grateful. That's right, Monnie. was during the Harlem Renaissance. And that's when she started the job.

in 1941 after all of that. So she had this whole life before she got into the NAACP and went to the South. So that had to be some kind of crazy culture shock because it was very different up North than it was down South. then you get into the rest of the stories that you guys gave and you're right. Let me see, is there anything else I can tell you guys that you didn't say? in the 1970s, she spoke out in favor of Angela Davis's release from prison.

She traveled internationally and supported civil rights in Puerto Rico. That's interesting. And then she died in her sleep on her 83rd birthday on December 13th in 1986. One year after we were

speaker-1 (42:58.966)
not in my notes.

speaker-1 (43:09.614)
I I hope she felt like she accomplished something. was a life. That was a life.

Yeah.

It was a lot and she did a lot of really amazing things and we want to celebrate them. I think it's really important. I'm glad you decided to do this topic today because at the end of the day, these aren't people we would have traditionally learned about and they all made a difference in the communities, in our lives and in the lives of our ancestors and many others because you know we technically from some islands before we got here. So it's kind of amazing to hear all of these things. So thank you Tanisha.

provided with us through the Black History portion.

do, but hold on. have at least one do two questions before we get to wrestling.

speaker-1 (43:59.182)
All right, so now this is where I do need y'all participation. Some of these questions are thinking questions and you may need a second to think about them. But I just, even if you can't answer them right now, I just want you to think about them in general so that you can be able to go, hmm, how can I change? What can I do that's going to leave my mark? Right? So one of them I want to know.

for you guys is, I actually use four, but I'm gonna pick two.

speaker-1 (44:38.278)
on resources, right? How could in our community have like you go, if you went off the grid today, what everyday skill do you think that you could secretly sustain a movement? So what do you think if you had to go off the grid, but you still had to do something, what would be something that would be able to sustain a movement?

Thanks.

speaker-0 (45:07.383)
a movement.

a movement.

I agree with you, Monty. There are many hidden gems in our culture and our history. I'm a great storyteller.

Mmm.

So I can galvanize, you know what mean? Like I can motivate, I can tell stories. But I think that comes through our blood, right? Our brother's a storyteller. So I think that just comes through our blood. And you guys enjoyed my specific deep dives into helping people because I love knowing about people and their stories and how they got here. So I think that is one skill that I could do. I don't have any hard skills. Like I can't hunt. This is why I'm married to someone who can do these things.

speaker-0 (45:47.884)
I can't hunt, I don't like to be outside, you ain't gonna catch me in the ground doing any kind of gardening. So I was like, I don't have those kinds of skills, and I can't make things.

No.

speaker-0 (46:04.302)
My mouth is a very talented mouthpiece. Thank you, Monnie, because it's like, girl, you understand what I'm talking about. I can't dig or build. I can bake. I can do hair. But that was a skill I had to learn out of necessity. don't know if that's a movement. can bake. I don't know that's going to be.

I

speaker-1 (46:25.954)
helpful, but it would definitely give you sugar, you know.

Kiss you.

Moving.

Everybody gotta eat. you go. Mommy says she could cook too. Girl, talk about it.

That's why there we go, right?

speaker-0 (46:41.614)
Cook too, like a cook, from nothing. That was a skill we all learned. There's lots of things in the house that you can use that may not traditionally be food. But look at you, putting it together. Ask my husband, OK, I'm magic when it comes to some rice, some beans, and some random meat we can find anywhere. No, I can't garden either. You should see me money. Like, I do not have a green thumb to save my life or anyone else's. But with that, you're a thinker? I love that. I love that.

I want you to know that is my boy right there.

I that.

I appreciate you. I didn't think you were gonna come. I appreciate you being on here. I didn't want to.

Anyway, I'm gonna add a bit to like I have questions. We need to dig into that a little

speaker-1 (47:33.566)
Now this is the last thing I'm going be out with.

The last thing I'm leave you with is, if your name was erased from history, but your impact remained, what specific hidden seed would you want to be remembered for planting? That is something for you all to think about. Cause I don't think everybody's gonna have the answer right now. Cause I don't even know the answer. And I've been pondering for 24 hours.

No, I do. OK, what? One of the things I like to do is to empower other people. But I don't necessarily do it where everyone can see I'm doing it. But I very much like to mentor and kind of coach people to get to like their best, whatever, whether it's their best self. And I can't fix relationships. I'm not that person. But I can certainly help you work through, you know.

confidence and what you want to do and like your goals in life and how you can get there. Like I'm very good at that. So I've thought about this. Like the legacy I'd love to leave behind would be that she made me feel like I was a better person. She made my life better. She powered me to make my life better, something like that. I thought about this. I don't even know why. That's an interesting question. And I do encourage everyone out there to think about that.

Especially as we talk about these hidden gems that we've talked about, like they've done some amazing things and we didn't even know about them since Nisha did this research. And to just think about the legacies that they left behind, it's pretty remarkable, right?

speaker-1 (49:11.788)
Yeah. So with that, know, tell us what the street's been talking.

with that.

speaker-0 (49:17.638)
Here we go. Here we go. That's my thing. I connected. Showing up in all the scenes. Hold that moment. All right. You know what

I'm gonna do...

speaker-1 (49:29.026)
Yo yo shhh quiet now

speaker-1 (49:42.862)
The streets are talkin' loud and clear Wrestling whispers in your ear Rumors flyin', news is poppin' The ropes are tight, no one stoppin' The streets are f***in' clear You better listen, main event mama's droppin' all the wisdom

speaker-0 (50:07.606)
aspire. Hey Dallas, welcome welcome.

Welcome. Can I just put this up there real quick before you get into the streets talking? Look.

speaker-1 (50:19.212)
I think that's dope.

think that's dope too. I think that's amazing.

Like to be able to be remembered for to see the greatness of someone and pulling them into the spotlight to do so. I like that.

I like that. I love it. You know what time it is. Let's do it. I've been in streets talking this week.

speaker-1 (50:41.895)
Tell me everything. Tell me. Tell me.

some breaking news. before I even get into this, you know, I had to pause because there was somebody got to lose. You remember Duke the dumpster, Drosi.

Breaking news!

speaker-1 (50:58.703)
Doot doot. What? Who is that?

You're right, girl.

I don't know, I don't know, I don't

I'm sorry, I gotta find this story because it popped up and I meant to save it but I was so horrified.

You are horrified!

speaker-0 (51:16.942)
Yes, he was indicted on attempted child exploitation. He was arrested last Friday for a DA press release today. The charge relates to an alleged failed attempt to purchase child sex, essay, y'all know why we can't say this on TikTok, material online in April 2024. He was released. Nope, he is not dead. He was released. I know.

On $10,000 bond with an arraignment set for May 28th, he was also terminated from his job as a drug court coordinator upon indictment.

What?

I don't know. Yes, I know. I know how she forgot Duke the Dumpster. But okay, because back then everybody had a job. Mr. RIS, you know what saying? Mr. Boss Man, everybody had a job, y'all remember?

I remember those people, but I remember him.

speaker-0 (52:15.938)
I do. All right, that's that one story because I had to get that out.

Secondly, he deserves to be in the garbage. I don't understand. In the dumpster.

It's alleged at this time. I would like to remind you that it is alleged he was charged, but you know, we need to make sure we use that alleged.

Okay, so I allege that he should be in the dumpster.

not necessarily disagree.

speaker-1 (52:44.396)
And I alleged he should be in the dumpster that goes to the landfill. Alleged. I allegedly believe these things.

about John Cena.

You

Wait a minute, I'm putting this up because wait a minute.

this up because this is wild.

speaker-0 (53:08.45)
Do you know we talked about Malvinas the other week and how we should not have been allowed to watch it? Not to forget that shower scene. Like I was like, how did we even like...

Especially with his...

speaker-1 (53:23.112)
He shower were like two of the girls and one before the girls. He was just having a whole groupie. I don't know what was happening in that shower. There was a lot happening in that shower.

who was clearly not doing any of these things. Monty said it's a federal indictment because if it is, they know what he has and they got him.

I mean, I ain't gonna lie. mean, technically when it's federal, that means they got the proof. I mean, did you see what happened to Puffy? I'm just saying. That was federal. That was federal. Yes, John Cena, let's go.

John Cena it is. Let's talk about go. All right. During a recent appearance on the No Contest, he did have Santa, you know what, body? You right. You right. I'm not gonna repeat that, so y'all better pay attention to the coffin. I don't wanna answer that.

John Cena, we're gonna say John Cena. Let's talk about John Cena.

speaker-0 (54:18.83)
Okay, during his recent appearance on the No Contest Wrestling Contest, John Cena pulled back the curtain on his final run. He revealed that his Australia Crown Jewel match against AJ Styles was originally supposed to be against Drew McIntyre. Creative made the switch to give fans a feel-good moment based on internal data. He also addressed the Brock moment that left fans heated. Y'all know which

and confirmed he personally chose the finish of his final match against Gunther, deciding to smile and tap as a way to kill the character off for

Well, now, see, I didn't know. I knew he did that on purpose when he smiled and tapped. I was like, I already knew. was like, he wanted to go out how he wanted to go out. And everybody was so upset. I'm like, he wanted to go out this way. This wasn't him not wanting to go out this way.

He wanted to go I didn't want him to go out this way. It was a meat fight.

I didn't want him to go off his way to Gunther. He could have went that way to anybody else but to Gunther. Well, no, not anybody else. But I am interested in understanding why they decided to go AJ Styles and not Drew.

speaker-0 (55:35.116)
Because remember, so I don't know if you remember this, the AJ Styles had been, they had been talking about AJ Styles online. So there was this buzz around AJ Styles. And for once, the WWE kind of listened. Now, I don't know if this is just John Cena thing though. I'm wondering if this is John Cena thing, because he had a lot of sway over his final matches and stuff. So I think it was a him proposal, if you were to ask me. Because I feel like he listens to the fans, whereas other people-

I mean, yeah, I mean, I also don't know where, why him and Drew would have been fighting anyway. But I do also know that he also mentioned that he was supposed to WrestleMania when he went up against Roman.

That's right. And he was supposed to win.

He was supposed to win and then lose it. Like they were supposed to restart the match and then lose it. And I was just like, hi John. But it was also like.

John?

speaker-1 (56:38.53)
why apartment is like, don't tell me everything. Cause now you're telling me all your secrets now that you're not there. And it's like, we already found out that you wanted to be there the whole year and they said no. then, and now you're like, now you're like, yeah, you know, I was supposed to win the title, but you know, creative decided to go a different way. And then it's like,

Stop telling me all the secrets. I need people to stop telling me all the secrets. Don't tell me the secrets. Let me let them be. if you, what's the point of telling me?

Okay, tell me.

I mean you could tell me, but I also feel like, but why?

Because I want to criticize this decision. And I hope that our voices are heard. when it comes to making. I know. But my hope is that when, like Moni just said, that clearly left a bad taste in my mouth, right? So I mean, deeply, deeply. That's all everybody talked about. Couldn't even really enjoy nothing after that. But I'm hoping that eventually they hear like.

speaker-1 (57:22.19)
We're glad to voices.

speaker-0 (57:43.906)
the responses about things and maybe the next time the opportunity comes, they don't have that chance because we're going to get into, you know, this is a good opportunity, I feel, since we were talking about reactions to talk about the Kevin Nash, Javon Evans, and Brock Lesnar of it all.

Hmm.

You know what? Me and Monnie, I feel like we sold Sisters Girl because exactly. He could have had a Takahashi run. What?

You

done. What's whole sisters body? I want the sauce. I want to know what spices in it. All of it. I want to know so that again, when I find myself presented in this situation again, maybe I can make some choices that are different. Maybe I can make it better. Anyway. All right. So let's talk about this love at all. Now I know y'all heard this because I'm a pop it up. So when you do see this online, you'll probably see me pop up a nice clip because I think I saved.

speaker-0 (58:44.632)
Kevin Nash's apology. But initially, and we talked about this, Tanisha, so I think this will be interesting because we definitely had a deep conversation. So Kevin Nash was on his show giving commentary about Javon Evans, and he starts out by saying Javon is this great athlete. But then he goes on to talk about how Javon feels like a Mr. Bojang.

We did have a deep conversation.

speaker-0 (59:08.674)
I mean, and how he just feels like he would like him to have an edge. He proceeds to go on and keep talking about how Javon is very talented, but that he just wishes he had it.

Listen, we had different opinions about this whole thing, which is a good opportunity to let y'all know we will be doing a retrospective on America's Next Top Model, so stay tuned. Because clearly we have other thoughts than other people might have. Now back to Kevin Nash and Javon. So what was your initial thought when you heard this story?

So my initial thought, initially when you said it to me, I was like,

speaker-1 (59:51.618)
But then when I thought about it, when you really said it and we really discussed it, I was like, well, I don't think it was racist. I think maybe he had a poor choice of words by calling him Mr. Bojangles. Because I also said, you know, he's not like the chicken, but you know.

But then I realized we're not talking about that. We're talking about like the people who used to put on perform or put on acts for white folks. I'm sorry if you're white in the comments, but it's what it is. So, I still just don't think is, I still don't think he was being racist. I think he was just his love for the sport. think.

He does respect Javon. think, I just think it was just a poor choice of words, especially, I guess, as you were saying, in this climate and in the fact that it was Black History Month. But do I think he races? No. I think he's still our brother from the other mother and other father who is-

other century yeah other generation

other generations, but I also feel like to this generation and we're so sensitive to everything. Because if this was said in the 90s or early 2000s, I don't think we would be that upset or up in arms because I think we talked about that too. And like she said, we're going to talk about this more when we when I finally watch the show because I have no interest in it. But anyway, watch the show about American top model.

speaker-1 (01:01:36.98)
This is a different time that was happening last time to where it is today. So.

I pick and choose when I'm going to be sensitive and think that somebody is racist, like the orange person that's in some place that's located in the capital of our country.

Yeah, that's my take.

Okay, I'm gonna give you mine. Here's the thing, I agree with a lot of what you said. However, I agree with what John said. It was the terminology that was really the biggest problem here was Mr. Bojangles. I mean, he could have used any other word. No, he couldn't because I don't think that would have worked out, but he just shouldn't have said that part. And if you did, I think it's okay to say my bad, Mia Coppa.

Yep.

speaker-0 (01:02:32.406)
I shouldn't have said this word. It was not appropriate. And to recognize that there's a significant connotation to that for your fan base, right? Because we've been riding with the outsiders forever. know what saying? Like, and we've been back before NWO, we've been riding. And Kevin and Ash, typically we'd be on the same side for a lot of things, I feel like. Especially when it comes, you know, to what you just said and what you just referred to. However,

He did release an apology, but it wasn't quite the apology issue.

Hmm.

And as a result, he deleted it because it did not do anything but further make people angry. The truth is, Javon is crazy talented. But I also want to say the one thing that Tanisha was talking about. We, in the 90s and the early 2000s, everybody had something slightly racist, stereotypical, gimmick-wise, right? y'all know.

Y'all remember Kofi when he was Jamaican? Like there was just always something. It was like no one could figure out how to make a character that wasn't slightly over the top and some stereotype of something, which is the heyday of wrestling that he grew up in. I mean, he was popular and not grew up in, but certainly was popular in the height of his popularity. That being said, I could understand from that lens why he would be asked

speaker-0 (01:04:03.758)
looking for an edge for Javon. However, I also think if you look at society now and the generation Javon is part of, they're not like that. They are not like that at all. And so therefore, they are going to appeal to their generation. Right? Like, he is this real excited kid who we as fans get that.

We know what it's like to be like, my God, I wanna live my dream. How many of us wanted to be at WWE? It's like, please pick me, but we didn't get there for one reason or another. So I kind of feel like he was getting somewhere, but just got lost in the words and obviously had a problem with learning how to say I'm sorry. And there's a lot in our comments, so I'm just gonna let y'all get into this. But that's how I feel about that. Now I'm not saying.

I'm like, there's a lot going on over here. You guys are...

So we just gonna put this on the stream because I'm reading all of that. Let's see. You can't see me. I think I fixed it so we can see you. Girl, what happened?

Wow, that's a lot. You can't even see.

speaker-1 (01:05:18.38)
Okay, first off first off no mckill he did he was not jamaican before he he's not jamaican hopefully he's not jamaican Like african don't make me look this up he is not jamaican

We're not helpful today.

speaker-1 (01:05:35.106)
Then, Monnie, you would... what? You...

Y'all are making this unnecessarily difficult.

Not him calling him Sammy Davis Jr. You know what? That's gonna make it-

I'm gonna take it off and we're just gonna have to read the comments because this is not working out. was like y'all are y'all going in there's so many words I'm trying to catch up. Alright let's go backwards. Alright. Let's start with this person. He might be a loser. I don't know about that. I can't I feel like sometimes we'd be on the right side of history and sometimes we'd be on the wrong side and now it's time for him to do his mea copa so he can be back on our favorite side because I don't know what happens.

Wait, hold on.

speaker-0 (01:06:24.825)
I'm same side of some cases and was a very poor choice of words.

speaker-1 (01:06:36.174)
Okay,

speaker-1 (01:06:45.518)
I feel like this happened the last time. Aris started doing both. It was like mine.

It does this when there's so much going on. OK, let's see. Now it's F Kevin Dash. He's right. I know. I agree with you, John. There's a lot going on here. Have we got it? I don't know. This is the same guy that called Eddie Guerrero a vanilla midget. He did?

remember that. When did he do that? Were you even alive for this? Because I feel like you're so much younger than me. I don't even know what you're talking about. And if he did at that time, it was probably

It was the part where he says street and hood because Black people are not monolith. Javon is fine the way he is and he's over like Rover. Absolutely, Monnie. And that's my point. I'm like, listen, we are all different. The way I grew up, I was an oddball. I wasn't in the hood. I was none of these things. It just wasn't, you know, and that has served me in my life. So it's fine. And I feel like, again, if you look at the history where Kevin Nash was at his heyday, that's where all the gimmicks were crazy.

street and hood and all of that, whether you were or were not, that was what was going on. But I could also argue some things, because I'm gonna take a minute to talk a little bit about NXT and just-

speaker-0 (01:07:58.572)
He could have called him Sammy Davis Jr. would make both jiggles. You know what? You right, John. All right, let's go, body. I love you some Kevin Nash. I said all the time I will be in the retirement home saying big sexy Kevin Nash, but it's a big toy. The room wasn't red. I agree. We wrong about the Jamaican thing. I'm skipping that. I should have screamed Kevin Reed the room harder. You know what?

I thought the same thing. was like, should we just send him a message and let him know? Like, hold on. Just don't talk about this movie.

old.

speaker-0 (01:08:34.529)
Candice is on a work call. We miss you. All right, Kofi is West African. See, there we go. I knew John was our fact checker.

I'm like I'm almost sure he's African, but I don't remember. I know he said he was like not Jamaican and then when he got off the accent they were like hey aren't you supposed to be Jamaican? Like that was the most funniest promo like what happened to your accent? You're not Jamaican? He's like

Nope, he was not. Alright, so the other piece of this story is that...

Brock Lesnar is a problem, y'all. I'm gonna just say it like this. So there's a lot of chatter right now that Brock Lesnar is going to be in the elimination chamber because, you know, do they ever make this guy qualify for anything? I think his contract says, will bypass anything and anyone to get what I want. I think his contract says. And so the issue is that especially with AJ Styles' upcoming celebration,

There's a concern that Evans is going to be stuck in a Lesnar situation, potentially that Lesnar might come and take his spot in the chamber. There's a lot of chatter going on.

speaker-1 (01:09:50.478)
That's a lot going on.

Yes, Manny, Kofi's mama did slap him. Why do you keep dropping things? I need a bigger desk. That's the problem. I'm pretty sure that's why I had phones who fell over before. I need a bigger desk. Anyone's welcome to go to our Patreon and donate the cause because I need a bigger desk. Anyway, that was our story. But we got more. First, I want to send our well wishes and our prayers out to Jada Parker.

happening over

speaker-0 (01:10:20.462)
Because they did announce that she has a neck injury this week on NXT. After Stone said some nonsense like they suspended her. I'm gonna get to him in a minute,

speaker-0 (01:10:33.091)
So that's it. So we're sending our thoughts and our prayers out because we want you back, girl. This is your year. We're ready for you. All right.

can't with y'all today. I don't buy it. He goes in there destroying the chamber house just to lose to Cody.

speaker-0 (01:10:55.15)
I love y'all today. Y'all fired today. I don't even know.

Where were y'all earlier? Where were y'all earlier? While I was crashing and tanking.

Yes. Jesus and why Lord?

Hahaha!

It's Brock vs. Oba, just watch Monday in the ATL show. You know what? Yeah, I'ma watch, and I hope so. And I hope he retires, because if not, y'all gonna get a whole different Kiara Y'all Never.

speaker-0 (01:11:28.492)
haven't watched NXT since Ava left. I can understand. And again, I'm gonna get to it. Don't worry. There's a lot to say there because I didn't want to watch it either. And then all right, so we got Miss Parker. So like I said, we're just sending out prayers. We did catch that both Tanisha and I were, we watched the match with Blake and I was like, how did we miss this, this injury situation? Because we would have started praying immediately. Okay. So I don't know how we, how we missed this, but

We miss you girl. We hope you come back stronger and check out her busted open interview. Y'all, because she did do that one. All right. Did y'all see my favorite wrestler Seth Rollins on Club JK? Did y'all see that?

I mean, I saw some clips, but I know he said something about they did run by him too about seeing punk coming. I was like, dang, I guess it made sense. I don't know the top two dogs they needed to make sure, but that's kind of crazy.

Yes, she did. Yeah, you're right, yeah, she didn't. But what Natty did call her was a Louis Vuitton of an XTN.

That's right, John. It was a DDT gone wrong and it was a hot mess. Once I saw it, I was like, how did we miss this? Because I would have said something. don't, anyway. All right. So like I said, did y'all kept stuff on Club Sheshe? And I'm gonna tell y'all, I don't usually do Club Sheshe. So it took a minute for me to catch on, but today was a busy day. And like I said, Kiara got at least two more hours of work, so she probably gonna continue listening as she gets off of this when she finishes talking to y'all. That being said.

speaker-0 (01:13:08.91)
He got into some really good stuff. So if you have not seen that interview, I want to encourage you to actually go do that. He was drinking, club shay-shay, they'd be drinking alcohol, like Tanisha and a tequila. And he was letting it lay. He was talking about his dad. All y'all will be asking why his name Lopez. He explained that deeply, indebtedly. And that his father didn't reach out to him, it really touched my heart because I can't imagine what that's like. But he's good with it either way.

He's good with it. loves his wife to pieces. He said he's still got some gas in the tank so we can stop counting down him and his retirement. He's like my job business on that. He said he's at his prime and I wholeheartedly agree.

And like you said, they did check in with him before CM Punk came back. And then he further gets into why he has beef with CM Punk, which I was like, now I get it and I'm still on your side. I mean, I didn't get it last time and I wasn't, I didn't care. I was still on his side anyway, but now I'm deeply on his side again, because you know, I never left. But now I'm just, I'm like two toes, two hands and all this and ass down that I am all the way here for self. Anyway.

with CMP.

speaker-1 (01:14:21.898)
Okay. Okay.

So I just want to tell y'all, check it out. He also gave this really interesting perspective on how wrestlers self-evaluate when they hurt themselves. So he kind of walked you through what was going on in his head. Remember when he did that crazy move with Cody and we was like, what just happened here? He actually walked us through what was going on in his head in real time. Like, this doesn't feel good. Does this hurt? It's this whole interesting like

mental check, it was brilliant. And I just want y'all like, if y'all haven't seen it, dive in because I really enjoyed it. And I'm not really a club shake, shake, kind of girl. Yes, I agree with you, Moni. This was one of the coolest parts because I'm a firm believer that everybody needs a little family. It's always nice to have siblings. We have so many, so many, and I love them all. And it is very nice to have a community of people who, you know.

have some kind of logical connection to you. But that was really touching considering he talks about how his father didn't reach out. He said he was gonna, but he didn't do it. And then, know.

the host of the show.

speaker-0 (01:15:36.984)
We have no problem at it too.

Mm-hmm.

Goes on to ask like do you think your father is just like nervous? About talking to you and stuff like I mean that's here maybe but it's either here or there and I thought that was a generous way to look at it because I would have other thoughts like dude Why are you scared? And then you host burger says like, know what Seth? He probably seen you on the billboard talking about that's my son It's that's why I guess that might be all that is. I just wanted to be like that's messed up. I just

If you are so steady.

Man up. Big win. on.

speaker-1 (01:16:17.347)
Mmm.

because you only have so much time here on this earth.

Or maybe the ship has sailed. Maybe Seth don't want it.

He would be open to it. I'm not saying that just because I listen to that part. He said if it happens good, but if not, he's good with it. So I just want to point that out.

okay.

speaker-1 (01:16:36.814)
All right, well, Ben Sepp's daddy, man the fuck up. Okay, there's people out here trying to get their kids and you out here who got a kid who said he's willing to have you part of his life. Now that doesn't mean he don't change his last name, okay? Cause that man, the other man who he has last name did things, but man up. I'm gonna see your other children. I mean, come on. If you're talking to the other children, you got a way in. I'm just saying.

I mean it would be good if you did then he talked about his mama's life and I just was like Now I feel like we might be cousin because he's like his mama got married three times He really appreciated a lot of people Because it just reminded me of like our dad was on his eventual quest for love. that's why we have

Wait, hold on.

speaker-1 (01:17:22.067)
how he was a rolling stone? We don't have to sugarcoat it. Our dad was a rolling stone.

sure. I mean it is what it is. If you listen to us you

You said you said the quest of love. What? mean, was it wrong? He was he was he was he was questing for love as a rolling stone. And you know.

I write tequila. Chill. Chill a lot. Okay. But anyway, I agree with you, John. I think it has everything to do with his AEW stuff. And then he did talk about that in the interview too, about how CM Punk was out there running his mouth about this, that, and the other. And like, now you get to come back and cash in on the good work that other people have done, which I was.

He's right. I keep telling y'all this is why I roll with Seth. Alright. Trustee, Bonnie, feeling like this personally, it is what it is. If he wants to be a part of his life, great. If he doesn't, well, I hear you. I hear you. Alright.

speaker-1 (01:18:16.16)
I mean, I'm part of that personally too, so I get it. understand.

against what this. All right, so what's our next story? Because y'all don't have me jumping back and forth. Let's talk about Moxley, because I don't want to talk about Chris Jericho. But I will briefly tell you that Chris Jericho was clearly supposed to show up, quote unquote, and that his mysterious absence is questioning. And that AEW may have officially frozen his contract. So that's why he may not be anywhere.

because they made him hold him hostage. know, AEW was good for that. They did that to Penta. They did that to Ray Fedex. They was like, you got to stay here. So I mean, I feel like.

frozen his contract.

speaker-1 (01:19:04.31)
I mean, they need to do what Elsa did and let it go.

Nope, they're not doing that. They say you can't leave here and go to WWE. We ain't having it.

Or go build a snowman and figure it out.

Well, the move has effectively blocked Jericho from negotiating with WWE. There you go. And yes, I'm about to ask you about that box. So that was my next question for you. What do you think is in that damn box? Because-

I think it's wrestler. think it's a wrestler.

speaker-0 (01:19:34.008)
Somebody say.

speaker-0 (01:19:38.446)
Yes, they did do that. Alistair Black too. They did and I'm so glad he's back. Hallelujah. I'm so happy he's back because I was like, I don't know what they doing to you and AEW. I think AEW is good for some people, which is going to lead me to this next story. So, and then I have one more and I have a whole hot take about that. So John Moxley.

Not the land of misfits toys. I'm done. Monty, I'm done. I'm done.

I love y'all. Y'all on fire today. Love y'all.

You know what, Moni, I appreciate you because if Faith was in here with you, I don't know what y'all would be talking about and now we would be...

Is Mr. Iguana? I'm so deaf with shine.

speaker-1 (01:20:26.286)
You asked what was in the box, so he's saying he thinks it's an iguana. That would be funny. He comes out like with his iguana.

That would make me happy. I hope it's a life-size big ass plush and you better put it on www.com so I can officially purchase it. No. Apollo's gonna eat it, but that's okay.

Where are you gonna put it? I don't

I was say, Apollo's gonna be like, would you? All right, all right, all right. You said Moxley, let's go, Moxley.

I'm gonna have to buy two.

speaker-0 (01:20:56.396)
Yeah, on one. All right, so it says, John Moxley has fully embraced his controversial death riders persona, and that has split the locker room and the internet. He's currently acting as a self appointed gatekeeper of ADW, vocally criticizing sports entertainment filth and demanding a return to outlaw.

speaker-0 (01:21:20.12)
So the streets are saying his real life influence backstage has some younger talents reportedly feeling his current purist character is making it hard for flashy, high flying stars to get over, while others praise him for trying to bring back the legitimacy and the grit of the product. So I would like to say this.

You open this laptop. I'm done with y'all. John, Mommy, y'all just on point today. Welcome. Welcome to the booth. What are you drinking? That's our question. What true serum is going on over in your home? John, it better be water or pet peeve. It better be.

you

But here's my thing. I've been wondering about I was watching Dynamite earlier today and I was having that same thought. I'm like, he's really leaning into this realistic energy of things, is in my quick copy. It's really special. I can't quite tell what's going on with him.

Well, Moxie is special.

speaker-0 (01:22:30.604)
Yes. And he got even more special on Dynamite. that's why didn't tell you. I didn't say that when you said you ain't watch it this week. And I was like, you don't want to. I didn't, because I was trying to. I'm going get to that. All right, John. I love that you're drinking Pepsi. Look, I even knew it. Listen.

White and blood.

speaker-1 (01:22:48.204)
Monty, what you drinking, some wine?

I'm just saying that in the end of the day, John Moxley's character is in this gatekeeper thing could become a problem because AEW does have a lot of their high flying stars get over really well. So if he's focused on like trying to keep it gritty and whatnot, I want to agree with that too. How come we didn't see Wheeler's hair cut? yep, like I said, I'm gonna get into that. It just what the I just feel like

I'm not sure that character is exactly what they need right now. That's all. Yeah, Davis was sheesh. Last story so we could get.

She said Dr. Pepper.

Okay, good. I love that for you. All right. So let's talk about these Wrestling Observer Newsletter Awards because it pissed me off.

speaker-1 (01:23:40.105)
it pissed you off. Okay. Wow.

2025 awards list was released recently. The best television announcer was Daniel Bryan. I'm sorry, Brian Daniel.

Mm-hmm.

And the worst television announcer was Booker T.

speaker-0 (01:24:00.398)
First of all, this reminds me why I don't F with the. And then secondly.

What the hell, Booker T is a gift and a joy. Every time I watch NXT, I am so excited to hear him commentate. I loved when he came to visit on the Macdown. I was like, can we get him more? Because he cracks me the hell up. And he is what's making a lot of that TV interesting because let's face it, if you watch NXT like me this week, would like. Look, some of these people could go back to where they-

I mean, I love when Booker sings Joe Henry's song. It's hilarious. I stand Joe Henry, but I love when he sings that.

He does, but I don't know if he's saying this week. He had a lot of other commentary this week, and him and Vic's chemistry is hella funny. Sometimes you can tell Vic is like, how did I end up here? Why am I? It's like when you have that drunk uncle with you at a wedding and you stuck, and you I'm sitting here with my drunk uncle, you don't have nothing to say.

You become the drunk aunt that you don't want to be next to. want to be always next to me.

speaker-0 (01:25:11.522)
That's just how my conversation goes. I'm not touching that. But my point is...

understand what you're saying. I think it's terrible. I ain't gonna lie. I like Bryan when he was wrestling, not when he was talking.

It was ridiculous. You are lying.

speaker-0 (01:25:32.934)
I don't. I'm gonna tell you right now. I literally watched Dynamite this week and was like, damn, he's on commentary. And then I was like, maybe I'm wrong. I'm gonna try to take Kiara's feelings out of it because my biggest issue with him is that he always takes it back to himself. Always. Like, he's commentating on what's going on in the ring. And then I remember my heyday. Listen, listen.

I don't care. I don't care. I want to stay focused on what's happening in the ring. And you're telling me a story about what you used to do. Like, I'm good. And so I was listening on Dynamite, and I was like, maybe it's me. And I guarantee you, right as we got to that middle part of the match, I remember what I used to take. Dude, just give me a skeleton. Don't do this to me. I like him very much.

You

speaker-0 (01:26:32.75)
But I was really kind of pissed off. So and I appreciated that MJF took up for him and he talked about how we treat legends like trash. And I agree with that. Like the internet wrestling community, some of these people like Dave, what the hell? Don't be ranking around announcers. You know what mean? Like just let it go. And also it was voted on by his audience, but I'm not.

I like I could name some names, but with that, really. Kiara, all I'm gonna say is, TNA impact Black Snow, thank me later. Okay, okay, I'm gonna look this person up. Yes, I want him on SmackDown too, so he can do the ad-libs when Trix comes out 100%. I miss him singing Trix's song. So now I'm at home singing ad-libs, because no one's gonna try it. Corey's like, hell no, won't be me. And nobody else tries.

So it's just us being here like damn, Trek's song is on. There are worse commentators in WWE. Yeah.

Well, I'm just going to pop that on the screen. can read it, but I'm going to pop that there. I absolutely agree with you, sport is like sports. The greatest players aren't the greatest analysis or talent evaluators. I was, I really enjoy Seth's analysis, though, but not of wrestling and football. So I don't know. Like I was like, I felt, you know, I felt like it was really good back in the day, even though he made no sense.

Macho Man, because he brought all the energy.

speaker-1 (01:28:11.096)
I love it. Well, my favorite, so I mean, he can do no wrong.

And then Roddy Piper was good too. So I. I see.

yeah. And Jesse. Jesse Ventura. is the greatest. He's the greatest. I thought he was going come back. I don't know what happened, but he did.

the movies.

speaker-0 (01:28:31.918)
You know, after he said what he said about Drew, I knew it wasn't going to be a long term thing. Soon as he told Drew, like, you know what? But that was funny. No, I said, while you walk out this ring, was going to happen. All right, let's get into last week's back down. Macho Man was my heart, y'all. Y'all don't even know that was my guy. That was my guy. And yes, McAfee is still in the company.

Why did you- That was-

speaker-0 (01:29:00.952)
But you know what, I appreciate his energy as well. His energy. And I liked him a lot at first, but I definitely loved how excited he is. But there's definitely a point in the night where he's either tired or drunk, and he's like... There's always a point in the night where he's like, yeah, you know, I'm like, he is not... Unless Roman's coming out, in which case, if Roman comes out, he kind of snaps to it.

Mm-hmm

speaker-1 (01:29:10.477)
Mm-hmm.

speaker-0 (01:29:30.222)
But if anybody else, there's always a point in the night where he's just like, you could tell he's like, I'm tired. I should go home and go to bed. And I'm like, same, same, I know how you feel. All right, let's talk about last week's SmackDown, cuz I really need to tell you.

about Jay Cargill and Jordan Grace.

speaker-0 (01:29:54.638)
I'm very confused at what's going on with Jade. I need y'all right now. Can you tell me what's going on with Jade and SmackDown? Because I said this last week, and if you saw my clip, then you know how I feel about it. They don't know what they're doing. But now I'm at the point where I really feel that I'm very confused.

They had her and Jordan in this feud that seemed like it was going to at least go for a little bit, but I'm pretty sure it's done because she definitively beat the girl. And then Liv comes down the ring, but you know, like I know, that Liv ain't got nothing to do with Jay. Liv is about to go after Stephanie, especially after Stephanie made that girl cry.

I mean first, I mean yeah, we'll talk about that cuz I wanna say why he was like and he's like

Don't worry, we only gonna be on SmackDown for a few minutes because you know, SmackDown is tomorrow. And I understand that Bianca is not there, but I'm gonna tell you the same thing I told the people on TikTok today. Your show should not be built on one person because we know that injuries happen. So you should always have a backup plan. And how do you not have a backup plan? There's so many other people. I told y'all move Bayley back to SmackDown or move Lyra.

this back down or switch some people around who ain't got nothing to do.

speaker-1 (01:31:20.458)
Mm-hmm.

But instead, we never had this draft and everybody's in shenanigans galore. And poor Jade is that bitch, but nothing else. And that to me is very disrespectful.

It is. Especially during like-

They bring Charlotte over to go against Jade. Now it's even more confusing because Charlotte is loving her energy with Alexa. So why take her off that direction? It's what the hell is going on?

As you said, they don't know.

speaker-0 (01:31:55.915)
It was. I will say.

The thing, they're throwing things at the wall hoping something's going to stick.

I'm gonna tell ya, spaghetti don't stick. It's going on the ground. I just need them to like, they need something. And I don't know if they need more women. Everyone's just sitting and catering. You know what? Who is this person? That's what do.

That's my food.

speaker-0 (01:32:26.805)
It's not.

That's my kids counselor.

I know Mi Chen is injured, but like where is everyone else? Move people from Rahoo aren't doing anything. Like we're having pointless tag team matches at this point. Like we know that Bailey and Lyra ain't getting no next tag team nothing. And Bailey is fired up this moment. Send her over there to go beat Jay-Z. Please. Or get into some feud.

Because maybe she losing it and she need to go. And I know Charlotte hasn't been in a tighter picture for a tighter title picture for a while.

But I think that helped her flourish. But I feel like that helped her flourish, that she's not chasing that type of

speaker-0 (01:33:10.638)
I think she's happier not being in the title picture. And you know what title I would like Charlotte to go after?

the USA.

That's right. That's the title I would like Charlotte to go after because they're a little lost right now. They don't know what the hell they doing either. That's right. There are call ups that haven't been called up yet. They need to speed it up because we are in, this is mania season and y'all ain't got nothing that would make Yara spend the amount of money Tanisha was talking about last week on no tickets because that's crazy. It's crazy and it's disrespectful. I will agree that Jade

Yes.

gave an awesome match and she did a great job and she's grown.

speaker-1 (01:33:52.716)
Did she? Because I could talk about that.

But I also think iron shards are iron, and you need quality.

I was gonna say she did not have not seen taking anything away from Jordan. But I don't think like the match started off really, really slow and felt what happened.

Read the comments.

Everyone else is sitting in the locker room eating tortellini while the same six people rest. You know what? I ain't gonna lie. They are the same six people.

speaker-0 (01:34:32.59)
You gotta hang with us every time,

they could do a few with last session. I'm not gonna lie. I did say that. Didn't I say that? I that and I don't really, I don't really like Jade. Okay. Maybe she grown on me a little bit, but I don't really like it like that, but I will say the match seemed like it wasn't at his caliber that it should have been.

And that's because I feel like they had two people.

I don't know. I don't know. just don't think it was.

We're also on Twitch, y'all now. So hello. Hey, hey.

speaker-1 (01:35:12.81)
Hey.

But I just don't, I just, don't know. I didn't think that match was a great match. I think when it finally ended, I was like, thank you, because I don't understand. And then, then I also said, why are you sitting on her boobs? I'm not understanding why you're sitting on her boobs, but whatever. But I also didn't understand why Lil was out there either and why they was eating chicken nuggets and why they, I went in my hospital last time, but I'm just saying, I don't understand.

It don't make sense because she's not picking her, but you know they gotta send him to send her to both shows to pretend she's. But she there's no reason for her to pick Jade so. Don't.

Cause if she picked Jade, she still was gonna lose. Anyway, okay.

Don't waste my time. That's how I feel about that. I will say I did appreciate that match with Alexa Bliss, Julia and Zelina. That was really good. It was really good.

speaker-1 (01:36:03.054)
The little ones with the little ones.

Mm-hmm.

and Bliss is on her way to the elimination chamber.

Mm-hmm.

I mean, you know what? I think you might be right about this.

speaker-1 (01:36:22.476)
You know what, that's true.

speaker-0 (01:36:26.766)
She was. But that's not the comment I was talking about. She was a third wheel. I think you might be right about that. Because it didn't feel, I mean, was a, I thought Jade looked good. I want to say that. Was it the most entertaining match I saw all night? No, but I thought she looked good. I actually liked Bliss, Julia, and Zelina. I liked that one a little bit more. But I also was like, why there's so many people at the ring side?

speaker-0 (01:36:55.658)
it is. I can't wait. It is going to be messy. Why not? All right. So beyond that, we know that Cody battled Jacob and Sammy.

That was a good match. And who came out of left field? I did not expect it. I was very upset that he came out of left field. I said, why would you do that? What is your beef? I was like, I don't understand. But what is it?

I love you. But I need to find something else to do.

Yes, because I also hope that, you know what, Eliminations Chamber that they will do Jacob versus Drew, because at this point...

What's happening? Are you the reason why he, you know, he was out? Even though we know you weren't the reason why he was out, but are you the reason why he was out? Like why all of a sudden you got all this beef? Or is this beef because you're still mad at the bloodline? And I'm gonna need you to get over the bloodline because they ain't checking for you. They don't care about you. They, you are a, diss and they're pissing

speaker-0 (01:38:06.584)
You're over it.

He needs to find the troll, tell him a joke so he can go over the bridge. Like this is like...

She did not bring that bank, y'all. my.

just saying like what is the what is the problem

You know what? The petty is what I appreciate. I mean, to hold on to that level of vitriol for this long is impressive. But Drew is just like, F it. I'm just going to keep messing with you, even though I now have the title. But I honestly agree with Moni right here. I was going to say, I'm pretty sure that Drew didn't do that. I think

speaker-1 (01:38:48.398)
I know it was Cody, but that's not the point. The point of the matter, what I'm saying is at this point, we also know nothing really truthfully happened to Jacob because Jacob decided to tell everybody that he was having some issue with his mouth. Okay. So he had to make it seem like it was somebody. I also don't think that they know where they're going in this direction or who and how storytelling is going to be. Cause they suck at storytelling. It doesn't make sense.

They don't know how to complete the story. I also think I just don't want to see another triple threat match between Jacob, Cody and Drew. Like I just don't think it's no point. Because he also attacked Cody too. Like at this point, I mean, I'm not saying Sammy does not deserve to be in the chamber, but can we actually give it to somebody different? Like stop using the same six people.

Are you saying you're not appreciating the people stuck in Canada?

No, the catering people need to come out. Okay. They've had enough catering. Okay. They're to get fat and chubby. Jeez.

Okay, is there anything else I wanna talk about? I did not appreciate Carmelo and Ilya's match being ended again. You know what they need to do? I just wanna point this out, cuz I've been thinking about this. I was watching Dynamite again this week and I was like, AEW has this rule now where sometimes they can't have interference. It's like we can have this match, but interference is banned. Can y'all institute that in WWE? Can we have one whole thing where-

speaker-0 (01:40:25.422)
where not everybody decides to interfere and end a match. Like that was multiple times on SmackDown that a match didn't get to finish because somebody was in here doing nonsense. So I just need less of the same exact interference. So when you back there, Apollo could, you know what saying? He's new. Thump him back in there. I know he's not new new, but he's new to the scene. It's almost like we forgot he had a job there.

I thought the same thing when I said, look, I forgot he was still there. And then I was like, Matt Cardona. Well, at least we know you still work here. But I need y'all to put this stipulation in where there is no interference going to happen.

Mm-mm.

speaker-1 (01:41:14.83)
They haven't had one of those in a while. Anyway, I hear you saying, okay, sorry.

or anything else you want to talk about before we move to Rob, because I know, I mean, shout out to Trick Williams and Ray Phoenix of it all, because I love me. Love, love, love, love, love me some Trick on my screen. And him and Ray Phoenix burned it up. I also think our truce segment where they were doing the poetry,

I'm not gonna lie our truth was hilarious. He was funny and Kit was just like yeah, you gotta take it because what you're he's saying that wrong, but I also told you I don't like it so I was all for our truth and I'm happy that they're using our truth and giving us what we need because

Yes, I agree with you. I appreciate that we're enjoying the poetry of it all. appreciate it. I'm glad that y'all feel me. Thank you so much, because I really did think, like, he still work here? I thought, you I didn't know. I know he was out being injured. I know he was at NXT for a while. But like, you know who I miss? We're the angel in the the birth tale of it all. We ain't seen him in-

I didn't know it going in AAA.

speaker-0 (01:42:33.548)
where Santos is now.

I'm over it. To like actually do something. Yeah, the truth is diabolical and Kit Wilson needs to be the face of Dirty Dirty E. Okay, listen.

Absolutely not. No. I hate it. I don't think it should be. To me, he's an abomination. Well, that's a really strong word, but I'm just saying I just don't like his character. I think it's stupid. I think it's stupid.

I hate that song.

speaker-0 (01:43:06.048)
El Grande Americano in the main event, the German one. Thank you for specifying.

Not the German one.

That's crazy. Then we had Tiffany open the show, but I didn't really care. I skipped that part. And then she was interrupted by Naya and Lash and Rio. I was like, blah, blah, blah, people. Give me more. Hi, Mimi.

Hi Mimi.

Let's talk Monday Night Raw. This is a lock-up today. She said Bibi agrees with you.

speaker-1 (01:43:33.518)
Alright, let's do it.

speaker-1 (01:43:38.05)
This is...

speaker-1 (01:43:42.414)
Thank you, because I mean that Negro needs to go somewhere, okay? he'd be like... It is. If y'all haven't noticed, everybody's Negro, okay? Y'all can just get it. Like, it's ridiculous.

My nurse.

speaker-0 (01:43:57.454)
Anyway, let's talk Monday Night Raw. Listen, I know I said this and I mean it. I love me, the Usos. But we know Jimmy is about to go out on maternity.

So...

Not yet though. least what, two more months, right?

No, it's already February.

March?

speaker-0 (01:44:23.438)
I'm pretty sure she's due in March or April, but it's close. So my thing is, my thing is, I don't know that they should have the tag titles right now, but what I do know, who you think that masked man is? Yes, you think that Negro.

I did, I did. And I will say it again over and over. But who I think it is, I mean, this time, they show the hands. So, you know, I'm do a little bit more self-evaluation to see. But I'm going to think.

Candace, welcome back.

speaker-0 (01:45:00.056)
think it's Seth. You think it's Seth?

Or I'm gonna go back with my original. am thinking it's Ricky.

Exactly. We are talking about Monday Night Raw and right now we're discussing the Masked Man Candace. Yes, I agree with that, Moni. So yes, I agree since Naomi is high risk, he will leave earlier. Candace thinks it's Grayson Waller, which Tanisha also agreed with you. I'm pretty sure we said that a couple of weeks back, but I did. Listen.

But you know, I

speaker-0 (01:45:35.406)
They ain't got nothing for him to do with the new day. So maybe.

But I will say that it's probably not. I also would say I don't think it's not. You know why? Unless he had, unless he dyed his beard back, his beard was black to try to fit in with New Day.

Okay.

So I don't think it's him because if you remember seeing his mouth, I don't think it's him.

Yeah, you tried on masking. Okay, you know what? I saw someone else do that too. And they had the same problem that it didn't exactly he is in the new day ish. But we all know that like, not really. They just have him around as a mascot really.

speaker-0 (01:46:24.782)
He's not, you know, you thought it was Seth, but it still could be Seth, but Grayson makes sense. You know what? I feel like, like I said what I said, I think that eventually the reveal may be Seth, but he ain't going to show up just to do a stop. So in the meantime, it could be anybody who just happens to be in the back. So I feel like it'll be unmasked as Seth at some point. But I also feel like we've talked about this. Seth should have been building his crew.

Mm-hmm.

for whenever he comes back. And I still believe that awesome theory might be a Trojan horse. But I'm trying to figure out.

He's too mad. I'm like, why are you so mad?

Because what better way to look like you are not guilty, but to be more invested in the anchor up at all? Why should he really care? What is that noise?

speaker-0 (01:47:26.126)
All right, so let's talk about

Bronson Reed giving them the damn tsunami. Listen.

I don't like that move, y'all. don't like it. I feel like it's every time he does it. When he did that to Seth six times, I wanted to cry. Like I felt like I was nine years old watching Macho Man getting like shredded by the snake. Like I just, I can't handle this kind of thing. So that's right. Seth isn't going to show up to do a stop. Exactly. Exactly. After his last thing, when he was sitting up there at Summer Slam and he dropped the crutches, he can't.

very dangerous.

speaker-0 (01:48:07.128)
He's too high for this little like black hoodie nonsense. You know, it just doesn't work. Just like we know Roman wouldn't do it. You know what I'm There's just certain things that they ain't gonna do. It's not gonna happen.

Mm-hmm.

speaker-1 (01:48:20.586)
Know how funny it would be if it is Roman? I know it's not, because it's not his built, but I'm just saying that would be funny.

A real worker can take nine tsunamis. I'm done with this person. So, all right, let's talk.

What? They will die. What are you talking about?

Don't think they'll die. All right, I do want to talk about CM Punk and Finn Balor because I am really enjoying this. And I am really enjoying that Finn came out with his old music again and he did the same again. I love that Finn Balor. I was very confused. Huh?

end

speaker-1 (01:49:05.646)
I'm sorry. I think it was a soft tease to let him know that he's about to be on his own. Like he's leaving.

Yeah, I don't like the way his arms move when he does a tsunami like he's trying to fly me me. Y'all is. Y'all are great today. Y'all need to bring this energy every time because y'all are hilarious. I know Braun Strowman took a tsunami through a car.

been back since. Where he at? Where Bronx from? Nowhere.

way out. That's right. He was on his way out. So I am really enjoying the Finn Balor and the CM Punkets and all. And I was like, can he win the title? Is that messed up? I want this so much for Finn. But then also seeing him with JD,

And Dominique was interesting. It was very interesting. I'm ready for them to break up, though. Same. I'm ready for them to break up. I feel like this is, like you said, the breakup that never ends, and we can't get over it. y'all need to break up and get a restraining order. You just need to not come back and not never again.

speaker-1 (01:50:08.31)
I don't think the restraining order will even keep them apart.

Something critical needs to happen. Like someone needs to plot someone something. Something needs to happen because there are the people that will never end. Like they are the song that never ends. Like in Lamp Shop. Like it's just like it never ends. not Shop. But I mean, it never, every time we think it's a glimpse that they're about to break up, then like. Yeah. Like even though we throw Roxanne, I mean, Raquel and Liv, that should have been like a explosion. Liv.

They going to work.

speaker-1 (01:50:41.535)
And Rock Killer like, my God, yes, sister. he's like, weren't y'all just beefing a second ago? Like, I'm understanding what's happening right now.

In fact, yes, they were. It was very confusing. I was like, but can't he just jump Sampong already? I just want the belt to move.

But I think the reason why they weren't going to jump him is because, but he said the reason why if he did jump him, then he wasn't going to get the championship. Like he wasn't going get his match.

I'm sick of this. That's all I'm saying. I'm ready for that to go. What else?

Javon Evans, excuse me, Javon Evans and Gunther and Dominic. Did anyone see that when coming? Because I damn sure didn't.

speaker-1 (01:51:29.326)
I'm not gonna lie, really thought it was gonna be Gunther. I didn't think it was gonna be nobody else but Gunther since he's on his little whatever kick it is.

I mean, Dragon Lee is really...

He's really, is he trying to lose his career this early? He's really bold, especially since they seem to be so high on Goonther that I just didn't see that coming. Like I.

I had to double check the tapes. I was like, did this actually happen? I had to double check. I've never seen anything like that where I was shooketh when it was ended. But then I was, because what was that? then for Dragon Lee to come out the crowd, what?

Not shooketh.

speaker-1 (01:52:16.822)
Well, he's changing up his character. Character development, which is something they should be doing for a lot of other people too, I'm just saying.

I agree with you, but I was really excited to see him there and that he's going to be in the elimination chamber. But I'm also kind of scared because that chamber is scary. Like, every time someone does something crazy. So I'm like, ooh, I don't know. And it's built for Javon though, so touche. All right, and then we're going to get into the moments that annoy me the most.

Okay, but hold on. I just have to understand why Mon- Do you see what Monnie is calling Goon there? I just wanted to put it there. I just wanted to put it there for a second. Monnie, have- make sure you come the next time when Faith is here, because I need both of y'all to be here, because y'all are going to have us in stitches, because this is classic livestream information. Okay, go ahead.

No, baby.

speaker-1 (01:53:16.148)
What annoyed you the most, Kiara? Tell us about it.

Oscar Bailey and Nattie. It was a fantastic match.

That was stupid.

It was a really good match, but I think it was stupid that they gave it to I really thought Bailey was gonna get it. I really thought Bailey was gonna get it for sure. I'm not gonna lie. I really thought it was Bailey.

speaker-0 (01:53:42.766)
The 061 was scary, the new one sucked. I don't want anyone to die. You know what mean? Like, I'm okay if they make it, like, killing proof. Okay? Like, I'm just okay with that. Like, I don't need that energy. The 061 was scary, though. I gonna hold you. That thing was terrifying. I went back and watched that and was like, why? Why did they do this? But back to this, okay?

Okay.

Free Bailey, you hear me? frickin' Bailey. Get her away from Lyra, get her the hell out of Raw. Put her on SmackDown, where she can flourish over there. Away from this nonsense, we need to throw this storyline with Lyra away. Now I understand.

I'm you.

speaker-0 (01:54:28.812)
that she would like to go to WrestleMania with Lyra as her partner. But respectfully, I don't care. I want you to go away from Lyra. I don't want you guys to be a tag team, not never again. I really feel like both of you need to go your own way, because this is what I mean about lazy storytelling. Because this does not make sense. Like, how many times did y'all break up and now y'all back together? Like, no, enough is enough. Y'all are like the soul and the Zarya of it all. Break up. Free Bailey.

Okay, like free her give her her papers let her go to Smackdown and leave Lyra where the hell she is. Okay, I just need them to be somewhere anywhere. Okay. I just had to get that out. I'm sorry

I how I feel about Bailey. I love her so much and I am just... And I agree with you, Mimi. Gunther was just there. They had to put three people in a match. You know what mean? Anyway. Can we spend some time on the live and the Stephanie and the Dom of it all? Because I know if I was listening to a Spanish person cuss me out and my boyfriend was whispering fast and skipping words, I might have punched him in the face.

Listen, the way he was, so she's saying, you're not deaf, but don't, you're not. And then go back, I'm like, what are you doing, sir? What is happening? Why are you even translating to her? I'm like, I don't even think Liv even asked you to translate, because I knew what she was saying, and I don't understand perfect Spanish sometimes. But you know, I knew what she was, she was reading her to filth to the first, to the moon, to the stars, into the universe, into.

to the floor. I knew what you were saying.

speaker-0 (01:56:20.366)
You didn't need to understand Spanish to understand what was happening there. She was cussing her ass out, okay? She was telling her she was trash. She was really leaning. And thank you to WWE for putting that translation on YouTube. But I ain't need it, because I knew what she was saying was devastating. Now, when I did actually go back and read it though, because as fluent as Ciara likes to pretend she is, didn't catch all of that.

But when I went back, I kind of disagreed with what Stephanie was saying. And I ride for me and Stephanie. I'm here for Aries Queen. But she was not right, because Liv was not handed things. If you remember the Liv like I remember, well, she was in oblivion somewhere for

He was with the riot squad and I ain't gonna lie that was actually a threesome. Okay. That was really good

She is not letting up. Thank y'all. I know she not. She got her foot on her next step. This is going to be the best rivalry ever. Because she really is. I know the next time Liv going to get her get back in and knock her the out. I don't know. But she going knock her out.

Or maybe she was surprised that she shouldn't be speaking Spanish and then who knows.

speaker-0 (01:57:46.254)
She, she might need to, didn't we talk about DuLingo? They need to invest in that as an enterprise level. Go ahead and get that. If you're go ahead and lean into the, to the different languages that people are speaking, this is your opportunity, WWE. Also, if you are part of the language service, we are happy to promote you. Visit our website for partnership agreements. we are fans.

that is stolen or babbled.

speaker-1 (01:58:14.113)
we are.

rare.

Big fan of D'Lego. I don't know about Belleville, but yes.

You would be able to speak better if you did that. That means foul. That means that. I really feel like this rivalry is so interesting and fun, especially because now Dominic's in the middle of the song since getting slapped around. Like I was like, this is the best. It's like crack. Like give this to be where this poor man is getting beat up because he's like, don't talk to her like that. Like bam. Bam.

speaker-1 (01:58:56.622)
That is true because she does say it. I'm you know what? What did what's the saying? Don't be wait hold on. I'm a little intoxicated so this is where that come out.

God.

Oh, don't be... Don't be in the kitchen if you can't... I don't even know, nevermind. Talk about the kitchen tonight. Thank you.

You're me.

This is why midnight confessions is a vibe. Because she's definitely exoticated. And I am not for this reason. Listen, I love this and I hope they take it all the way. Find it. She's finding it. You know what? Welcome. Make sure you hit that subscribe button. Because y'all know this is...

speaker-0 (01:59:53.986)
This is life here with us. It gets real fancy. She got her feelings hurted. my god, are you sure you were drinking soda money?

speaker-0 (02:00:08.046)
Did you follow before? I'm sorry. Okay, anyway. I can't wait. Like, you're right. She was in tears. She got escorted out by Dominique. It was bananas. And it was so freaking fun. I can't wait to see the next episode of my next Ten Little Bambas.

And then my present

speaker-1 (02:00:29.334)
It's not funny. Michael's like, so can I get an answer? Or is this not the right time? Michael, what do you think it is? You think she's going to give an answer right now? We all know what she was doing, but I mean, do you think she's giving you an answer right now? I'm just saying.

was vegan ass.

What makes it worse is when they're back in the clubhouse, she's like, I'm so sad. Raquel's like, okay, I'll help you. I'm like, where were you when she needed translation? Where was she she needed a backbone?

Where were you? I want to tell you that Raquel does not speak fluent Spanish.

But she was speaking it well enough when she was talking back and forth to

speaker-0 (02:01:14.316)
I so. I said, she said her Spanish sounds crazy, but you know what? It sounded good to me. What do I know? I was like, listen, sometimes we speak English and we have a hard time. I mean, you do what you can, but what you got. Like, it didn't bother me. And as long as we could follow it, I was good with it. So I feel like Raquel could have probably translated. She could have possibly done that. Like, she don't have to speak it to know what homegirl was saying. I had a lot of Spanish homegirls who did not speak Spanish, but they understood it from top to the bottom.

I was one of

because their grandmas and their mamas will curse at them in Spanish. So I'm just trying to tell you, I, she said, I'm drinking Dr. Pepper as a school night. Okay, I feel you. I feel you. This is me in my water taking, taking control. All right, so that's exciting. All right, moving on. Penta defeated the imposter, but who's our favorite, Grande Americano, to become the number one contender for the Air Cottonel Championship. Thanks to Chad, I mean the original.

Mm-hmm.

speaker-0 (02:02:13.176)
Grande, Americana. She was fluent going off on Nikki Bella. I know that's right. I mean, but you know Nikki can't speak Spanish either.

So I don't think she understood. I'm not gonna hold you out. She can't, she'll tell you. I mean, I don't know if y'all pay attention to my interview. She don't speak Spanish. Cause you know, wasn't her father Mexican? Her mom was not. and they, know, yeah. If you watch Total Bellas, y'all know. You know what you know. Okay. So I'm not gonna give y'all a history lesson. So beyond that, like I'm enjoying this too grande Americano situation. I very much love.

the imposter, feel like he really is the real Americano. got him a little status girlfriend. He'd be chilling in Mexico. He'd be going to dinner in Mexico. Chad can't do that. So mask versus mask, probably at WrestleMania. That's my guess. And then we have Obafemi. They said the Obafemi sweepstakes. I'm trying to tell you right now. Where do think he gonna end up? Because not Adam Pearce talking about

Love to have you over here. Though I understand you have to explore your options, love to have you over here. And I don't think I have ever seen Rusev look like small before.

Mm. I don't think I've ever seen that either. Mm-mm.

speaker-0 (02:03:36.73)
I looked at, was like, when did Rusev look small? Like, what? I just kept thinking, like, who's that little guy? And I'm like, I think I have this wrong. There's no way. I had to have it wrong. So I think he might end up on Raw just because of that. Just because of that little face off right there. He needs to be on Raw because you need him on Raw? I ain't mad at you, Monty. I ain't mad at you.

I kind of agree with you. And then of course we got this mystery crate which Pierce sent to SmackDown. Happy resolve. No, that's right. I want to talk about how Pierce is my guy because he's like, this is not about to be my problem. He sent it to SmackDown. So I wonder what Nick is gonna say. Is he gonna send it back? Like does it end up in WWE headquarters? Like where's this great gonna be? But whoever it is better have air.

No.

speaker-0 (02:04:33.09)
Because if you're supposed to wait to 228, they got 10 days to be stuck in there. So just a thought. All right, quickly let's give some NXT before we say good night to you guys.

Mm-hmm.

I meant to say this, that we saw Ariana Grace win a TNA Knockouts title. And which I want to say, what the? What the? This is what I was talking about TNA not building up their women's division. Why do we have Ash by elegance fighting with Mickey James? He do got Hennessy.

Okay.

speaker-0 (02:05:13.064)
Or vodka, he might just have Jack Daniels. He might just have to be like cash into the game because it's hard out there in his job. Just afford it to Chicago. I know, I know. What can you do? But regardless of that, what the hell? How did she win the title when then on the same show they had Mickey and Ash fighting for shiggles as my son likes to say? Like why?

What's happening with TNA's women's division? What is going on here? They really need to do some work. having Ariana win, it almost, I was very confused and it didn't make sense. And now she's walking around with this title. And I know they're getting ready to do this.

I know they're getting ready to do this second, third generation storyline faction thingy called Birthright. She did steal the Cobra, which was, we was laughing about that. We was like, she did not take a thought. I mean, a Cobra, whatever. But either way it worked and shout out to her for getting hers. But it also doesn't make sense. Like, why would Ariana be a TNA Knockouts champion? She hasn't gotten that one title.

In the next scene, not a one. She was actually considered a joke for a while, even though, I mean, she's improved. I will say that, she's improved significantly. But like-

I'm very confused.

speaker-0 (02:06:44.844)
Yes, they did have some good stars in TNA, but I don't think they took a lot of the women. They only took Jordan. That's my biggest thing, and who they should have sold is Mike Santana.

Mm-hmm.

speaker-1 (02:06:55.214)
Well, I mean, technically Naomi left too, but...

Thank you.

She was gonna leave anyway.

She's on hiatus. But I'm like, y'all need to be working and signing people to y'all division. Because this is looking real cold over there where Ariana got to wear the title. Y'all didn't want to leave it on Li Ying, please? Like, what? Why not? felt very odd for her to win that particular title and for her to be wearing it. Especially because Stax lost his TNA championship. It was a very odd situation. I feel like when I talk about NXT, I'm always talking about

because now they're kind of interchangeable. But beyond that, let's talk about Robert Stone.

speaker-0 (02:07:39.618)
I am not enjoying him as an interim nurse.

I understand that Ava is a hard act to follow.

for sure.

could have found somebody because this is utter nonsense. It's nonsense. It's nonsense. The other option is Tesla. That's crazy. That's crazy, Monty. know. No, it's not. They got other people in TNA. Again, they could give it back to Ash. What's happening here? She technically never lost it. They could have gave it back. And I'm also waiting for this contract to expire any time in it, any now. But on the other hand, I don't know if I trust

WWE right now, but he was in AEW so you he can't go backwards you really just have to keep moving. That being said, I don't like Robert Stone as him. I think y'all was complaining about this a couple weeks back and now I get it and now I also agree and now I I think he may be a good person, but I don't think that he's the right person for this

speaker-0 (02:08:45.494)
And so they need to pick anyone else. I mean, at this point.

speaker-0 (02:08:51.886)
Why can't we have Regal do it for a little bit? Just, you know, a few weeks till y'all find somebody else to get to. Because Robert Stone is a crazy choice. And you should have saw how he was talking to them this week. well, it just doesn't work for me. I don't know what it is. It just doesn't work for me. I'm just I'm leaving there. don't. Anyway, Ethan Page has this match with Shiloh Hill, who's weird as hell, and his

promos are not helping him be less weird. And I liked him on LFG, but I really don't like him now. And I am over him taking his teeth out.

I am over that too. I was like, why? What is that? Supposed to be a superpower?

Maybe.

speaker-0 (02:09:44.266)
Exactly, money. It's very hard for me to like, I watched it while I was working so that I can have something else to go in my head while this is happening because I just don't enjoy him as GM. But I also but you know who I do enjoy even page on any given day. And he's like one of the brightest spots for me in NXT and having him and Max born miles not Max. I'm sorry, miles born going back and forth. It's kind of miles.

but Miles is becoming a little bit more aggressive and I like it.

I do too. I thought he was, I like this edge on him a lot. I was like, ooh, especially because now Ethan's hanging out with the vanity boys and what the hell? Like, don't think, I don't think he had no friends. So I'm very confused. But I like, I like the situation with him and Miles. I like it. I think it's going well. I think he's way more mature in his, his tenure than Ricky. And like I said, I would like to see him do more on like SmackDown, not Raw.

Smackdown and kind of go back and forth for a little bit there. I'm looking at you.

Joe Hendry and Ricky Sane had that weird ass promo.

You

speaker-0 (02:11:05.614)
I'm gonna just be honest with y'all and tell you I had a hard time with NXT this week. I did not like basically anything that was going on. I didn't appreciate Dark State's quick ass match and which Tony D'Angelo did what he did. I just was like, it just was not enjoyable to me. I don't really care right now.

Yes, he did. My household with his girlfriend and he just had to rise to the occasion. He said, I got to be like Stephanie. He's like, I got to be vicious.

Because I gotta be a little vicious and if that's what it is, what it is.

Yeah, but it was also funny that they mentioned that they have not. Oh, Tony D'Angelo is there. Monty, you got to catch up because he out there attacking Dark State because they took him out last time. So what he does now is he likes to attack them. And he had a match this week and he beat them in record time. yeah, no, he did beat them. And then Deon tried to attack him and he did something weird with the rope that didn't make sense. He said he's not going to be in the title picture right now with Ricky and

No, he better.

speaker-0 (02:12:10.99)
Joe until he finishes his little situation with Dark State until he destroys them or whatever that is. So that's why he's not in the title picture with Joe and Ricky right now. But Ricky's still there, know, still hanging on with his fingertips to be there. But then they also have Keanu, is his promo though.

speaker-0 (02:12:35.438)
I laughed out loud, girl. I'm not gonna hold you. He was talking about how he beat up his coach because his coach told him to do something he didn't wanna do. Like it was crazy. Now if you wanna talk a stereotype walking, that's what that is. Very angry black man. That's stereotype right there, which.

speaker-0 (02:13:00.206)
Yes, John, he wants to take them out one by one. But then I feel like we're going to be right. What's going on with AEW where you take them out one by one and then you get to the end and it don't matter. Like, that's nice. Thank you for finishing. That's what happened with Darby. And now we're in a whole nother feud of confusion. Anyway, that's it. So I'm going to hold you. I just really didn't appreciate too much going on. Zarya and Sol seem to be patching things up, though I think this is a false.

situation because Zarya told Sol pretty much to go to hell, then when Sol was facing off against fatal influence, well, then she came out.

I she was gonna come out. I mean, I she was gonna come out and I ain't gonna lie when she was like, yeah, pick her up. I was like, it's finally happening. We're going to get the breakup. And then when it didn't happen, I said, well.

speaker-0 (02:14:02.316)
Okay. I think it was. I was like, ain't going nowhere. Well, why for? I think it's going to be big when they like finally break, break up, which means that I feel like she might cost her, her title with JC Jane at what is it? Roadblock? Is that the next one? I feel like that that's coming. And I think that's when this turn will happen. And then they had Blake Monroe in the back because apparently they forgot to do with the speed title.

because Balané had no speed matches in 900 years. And Robert Stone was like, yeah, I need to get you in a match. But I'm going to book Blake and Deah together.

speaker-0 (02:14:47.918)
What the hell is

Yep, the juiceless one. Y'all is wild, Monnie. Tuesdays a day, well good, because I feel like it's coming. And I'm ready, because y'all need to break up already. Enough is enough. Yeah, that's pretty much all I gotta say. Now quickly, let me tell you, the swerve lost his crap on ADW, Finally. I don't know why he thought he was a good guy, because he ain't. And he attacked Kenny Omega.

And that powerbomb that he gave him that he put through the chair was the craziest thing I had seen. It looked real wrong. I'm gonna tell you, it looked wrong. You know what's gonna hit hard? Maria turns on happy go lucky EO.

Yes, I believe you. I believe you. Because I said it. I said that E was going to turn on her. So yes, it will hurt. But I don't think it's going happen anytime soon yet.

I don't care. I'm already here. I don't care. Now I feel like I've reached you where you were at. Like I don't care anymore. I just like, whatever, who cares? Move on. Like move that type on someone who makes me hear about

speaker-0 (02:16:02.816)
It's hard to replace Charlotte in the lifetime. Anyway, like I said, Swerve did some nonsensical nonsense here. And I don't know who told him he was a babyface because this is where he belongs in the vicious, evil category.

Anyway, but that was interesting.

speaker-0 (02:16:30.284)
Well, we talked about that hair versus hair match and Yuda was shaved properly. I don't know if I showed you the picture, but it's on our, in fact, it is on our YouTube page where I put up a poll about what people's favorite matches was this weekend for Australia. And I have to tell you that that hair match was funny as hell. And then they made him look like Homer. Like it was crazy. Like I highly recommend.

all of that. And then of course, MJF managed to keep his title against Brody King, which is what this wasn't expecting it. But I am really annoyed that Hangman beat Andrade. I'll show you. Like, that didn't make no damn sense. And now they're supposed to be fighting

I don't know when they're fighting, but I know they're going to be fighting soon and I don't care because I would prefer Andrade go get into the title picture where he belongs because he really does belong.

Lastly, that four way with Willow, Mina, Meghan Bain, and Marina Shafir was fire. And Willow has really gained her chops. She looks real good as a champion. Admittedly, I am missing Mercedes a little bit. They need a little bit more fire to that division. But it was good. It was a really, really good match. And I enjoyed the hell out of it.

speaker-0 (02:18:06.114)
And yeah, that's all I got. I think Thunder Rosa came back.

Mmm.

We'll see if that means anything. They seem to not do much with her. But with that, we had a long ass day with y'all. You know what saying?
