Raw Recap: Power Struggles, "Frat Houses," and the Fall of the Tribal Chief

Raw Recap: Power Struggles, "Frat Houses," and the Fall of the Tribal Chief

Last night’s Monday Night Raw felt less like a professional wrestling show and more like a high-stakes chess match. The players clearly don’t like each other. With corporate tension high and a table-shattering conclusion, the WWE hierarchy is shifting in real time.

The Vision vs. The Vicious

The show opened with Roman Reigns setting out to dominate, but Seth "Freakin" Rollins faced him head-on, reflecting their infamous rivalry. Before they could escalate, Bron Breakker interrupted, signaling his intent to challenge the top stars and disrupt the power structure.

Breakker turned Seth into a human lawn dart, sending him into the steel steps and following up with a devastating spear in the ring. While Seth later told Jackie Redmond he’s "not dead yet" for Backlash, he was clearly hobbled. It’s a bold strategy for the young Breakker, taking out the veterans before they can even get their boots laced.

The Judgment Day’s Reluctant Recruit

The drama in the Judgment Day clubhouse has reached a boiling point. Liv Morgan is running the show with an iron fist, demanding "no secrets" from Roxanne Perez. The power dynamic here is uncomfortable to watch; they are treating a talent of Roxanne’s caliber like a group intern.

This peaked during Finn Bálor vs. JD McDonagh. Despite Dom’s constant interference, the tide only turned when Roxanne—under clear duress from Liv—handed over a hammer to JD. The reluctant look on Roxanne’s face spoke volumes. She’s helping them win, but at what cost to her own soul?

The Alpha Academy Answers the Call

In one of the most impressive physical displays of the night, Oba Femi issued an Open Challenge. While Tozawa made the initial move, Otis stepped up to accept. Otis put up a hell of a fight, but Oba delivered a "Fall from Grace" that looked absolutely amazing. If you weren’t a believer in Oba before, last night should have changed your mind.

Backstage "Frat House" Energy

Michael Cole hit the nail on the head when he described the backstage atmosphere as a "frat house." With Logan Paul acting like he’s untouchable and Austin Theory trying to maintain his bravado, the corporate energy is at an all-time low. Joe Hendry remains the only person capable of cutting through the noise with a catchy tune, even if Paul Heyman warned that going against Hendry is a losing game.

Logan Paul’s interference eventually ruined the match, leading to a massive brawl involving the Street Profits, Bron Breakker, and a limping Seth Rollins. The most telling moment? The Street Profits remind Seth that, despite their common enemies, nobody actually trusts "The Visionary."

Contract Chaos and Disappointing Mentors

Sol Ruca’s contract signing was upended when Becky Lynch shifted the focus to her own frustrations. Sol directly challenged Becky’s recent attitude, siding with others who feel similarly. The signing turned chaotic when Becky attacked Adam Pearce by mistake, escalating management’s headaches.

Meanwhile, the face-to-face between Iyo Sky and Asuka was masterfully tense. Iyo attempted to distance herself from her past, but Asuka wasn't having it, calling Iyo her "biggest disappointment" before blinding her with the green mist. The respect is gone; only the grudge remains.

The Brothers are Watching

Throughout the night, the tension around Jacob Fatu was building. We caught up with Jey and Jimmy Uso backstage, and Jey is clearly rattled. You know it’s serious when he starts speaking in complete sentences. They were both issuing warnings about Jacob, making it clear they were "in the house" just to make sure nothing popped off. Unfortunately for Roman, they couldn't or didn’t  stop what was coming.

The Table Has Turned

The night concluded with Roman Reigns attempting to assert his dominance over Jacob Fatu. Roman’s plea for "respect" fell on deaf ears. He tried to explain that while they are equals as family, Jacob is "beneath him" in the ring.

Jacob Fatu answered Roman’s power play with aggression: he delivered the Tongan Death Grip and splashed Roman through a table. Adam Pearce attempted intervention, but Jacob prevailed—making it clear that Roman’s position is no longer unchallenged.

What’s your take on the "Los Hermanos Americanos" (The Creed Brothers) making their masked debut? Is Chad Gable’s "injury" a work or a warning? Let us know in the comments!
