AEW Worlds End 2025: Vacation Interrupted & Our Picks

Listen, we know we’re cutting it close, but did you really think the Main Event Mamas would leave you hanging for Worlds End? We technically interrupted a very important vacation to bring you these gems, so you’re welcome.

The card is stacked, the vibes are chaotic, and frankly, some of these men are acting up. Let’s get into our "Speed Round" predictions before we head back to our lounge chairs.

The Continental Classic: Semifinal Chaos

First of all, the winner of this has to wrestle twice in one night. In this economy? God bless.

• Match 1: Jon Moxley vs. Kyle Fletcher

• • Tanesha’s Take: Kyle Fletcher. Honestly, Moxley has been sucking lately. There, I said it.

• • Kiara’s Take: I’m riding with the "Protostar" Kyle Fletcher too. Moxley is trapped in that Don Callis black hole of misery, and we’re ready to see someone else shine.

• Match 2: Okada vs. Takeshita

• • The Verdict: We both have Okada taking this. It’s Okada. Enough said.

• The Finals: Kyle Fletcher vs. Okada

• • The Winner: Kyle Fletcher. Kiara thinks Takeshita is going to be so fed up with the Don Callis family drama that he’ll basically self-destruct, paving the way for Fletcher to take the whole thing.

Grudge Match: Gabe Kidd vs. Darby Allin

• Tanesha’s Take: Darby Allin, obviously.

• Kiara’s Take: I’m going against the grain and picking Gabe Kidd. That promo he dropped was pure fire. I’m prepared for some "death riding" on this one, but Gabe has the momentum.

Women’s World Tag Team Titles: Babes of Wrath vs. Mercedes Moné & Athena

• Tanesha’s Take: Mercedes and Athena. Look, Mercedes keeps losing her other belts, so she’s gotta replace them with something, right? It’s just basic math.

• Kiara’s Take: I love the idea of Mercedes and Athena as a power duo, but I don’t think this is their night. I’m sticking with the Babes of Wrath.

Chicago Street Fight: FTR vs. The Bang Bang Gang

• Tanesha’s Take: Bang Bang Gang. Mostly because the name is iconic. Bang Bang!

• Kiara’s Take: I’m going with FTR. Also, can we talk about Stokely’s promo? Hilarious. 10/10.

AEW Women’s World Championship: Kris Statlander vs. Jamie Hayter

• Tanesha’s Take: Kris Statlander.

• Kiara’s Take: I’m going with Jamie Hayter. Look, Kris is getting better, and her last few matches were spot on, but does she feel like the Champion yet? Not for me. Jamie is just on another level.

"Mixed Nuts Mayhem" (Yes, that’s the real name)

The Death Riders (Claudio, Yuta, Pac, Marina Shafir) vs. The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe, Roddy Strong) + "Timeless" Toni Storm.

• The Verdict: We are both Team Conglomeration. We love Marina Shafir, but the Death Riders feel a little shaky heading into this PPV. Plus, Toni Storm is... well, Toni Storm. She’s the "plus one" we all need.

The Main Event: AEW World Championship Four-Way

Samoa Joe (c) vs. MJF vs. Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Page

This match is a literal mess of ego and talent. Kiara called the MJF return on Wrestling Spotlight TV, and here he is, appearing like a Joe Hendry jumpscare.

• Tanesha’s Pick: Samoa Joe. The King stays King.

• Kiara’s Pick: MJF. It’s process of elimination, honey. I don't want it back on Hangman, and I don't think it’s Swerve’s time. It feels like they’re itching to get it off Joe (for some reason?!), so MJF is going to find a way to snake his way back to the top.
